"Cassia, you have to get up or else you'll be late for your audition!" I heard my sister yell as sunlight hit my face and stung my eyes. I take the covers off and climb out of bed. I look at the mirror across the room and looked at my fiery red hair and green eyes as I brushed my hair. I glanced around my room as I searched for my clothes that I laid out . I changed into my white t-shirt and blue jeans and walked down the stairs to grab breakfast.
" Morning sleepy head. Sleep well? " my adoptive mom asked as she read her magazine and sipped on her coffee.
" I slept ok, but why does it have to be so sunny out side? " I asked with a smile on my face as I made a cup of joe. I sat down and started sipping my own cup.
" What to do about my makeup? " I asked mom as she started to lean forward out of her chair.
" How about some light brown eyeshadow and some pink lip gloss? " she suggested as she looked into my eyes. I gave a nod of my head as I ran up stairs and got out my makeup. I put my brown eyeshadow with a little bit of red on the corner of my lid to make my eyes stand out. I put some lip gloss on real quick and ran down stairs.
" Bye mom, come on Emma! We're gonna be late! "
" I'm coming, Jeez. Bye mom! " Emma said as she ran down the stairs trying to get her earing untangled out of her sandy blonde hair. We ran out the door and into the red jeep with me in the driver's seat. I rehearsed my lines in my head, making sure I remember everything. My long hair whipping around in the wind. We took the exit to get to the auditions for the first movie of the Mortal Instrument series. City of Bones. Sounds like it would be an interesting movie. The books were good, so it should be a good movie.
*A little commercializing for the first chapter. Lol*
I turn on my personalized radio and plug my phone into the car.
" Feet don't fail me now. Take me to the finish line. Oh my heart it breaks every step that I take. I hope the fates still tell me that your mine. "
I hear Lana Del Rey blast through my speakers as I drive. I sing along as I calm my nerves and laugh a little. I look over and see Emma bobbing her head along to the music with her lips in a big upturn. I look in front of me as something flashes in front of me.
" Look out! " Emma screamed at the top of her lungs as I took a right off of the ramp. The ramp wasn't that far off the ground, but I felt my legs snap as we crashed into the ground. We collided with the car as it hit the ground. I hit my head on the steering wheel and the thick crimson fluid started running down my face. I look over at Emma who's arm looks broken. I shake her trying to wake her, but she's passed out. I look around to see people gathering and screaming. I started losing focus as everything blurred and I passed out.

Not sure if I like this chapter. X$ I'll have to go back over it and tweak it some. Put in 2 commercials in this chapter. Lol! Those are the last ones in this book. XD
