He was deeply asleep as they checked on him. Not moving a muscle as he floated up and down in his tube. It was like this everyday, for a very long time, and it's all Sam knew. He couldn't think for himself, or talk, or move. Not until the time was right, which was supposed to be in a few years time. But the world had other plans in store for him instead.
"It seems the experiment has still been a success." The women exclaimed as the man smiled and nodded his head. Going over to jot some notes down before leaving the room. The woman soon left the room too, and Sam was all alone. His eyes closed, but only for a short while. Sam's eyes started to open, and he noticed what was wrong. He broke out of the tube, and looked around. Confused and scared as the man and woman rushed into the room to see what had happened.
"You have to catch him, and fast. We can't have our experiment in the wrong hands now." The woman nodded as the man watched on, but it didn't take long for both of them to pass out, and Sam to run away as fast as possible. The building he was in was huge, but he managed to find his way out and into the barren area around him. He looked around in confusion as he didn't understand what was going on. But he managed to fall asleep a little while later. The feeling of the air and world around him hard to grasp as he couldn't stay awake for much longer.
~~ 2 Hours Later ~~
Sam felt something poke him as he stirred up. Seeing a small stick he threw it out of his way. Causing the bird who put it there to fly off. Leaving himself sitting there. Until a voice broke his thoughts.
"Hello." A girl smiled as Sam smiled back. Standing up as she helped him up. "Are you alr... hey wait a minute, where are your clothes?" She asked as Sam looked at her, but said no words. He just looked at his hands, and put one on her chest. "Uh well, I don't understand what's going on here but, if your fine I can go." The girl went to leave as Sam followed her. A few minutes later she turned around to see him look at her. She looked back at him, and smiled."I'm Penny. It's nice to meet you but I really do have to go." She spoke as Sam looked at her, before grabbing one of her wrists. The saddened look on his face as he starred at her."S..am." He spoke before letting go.
"Sam? Is that your name or something?" Penny asked as Sam smiled and nodded. "Well that's nice, but I have to go, really I do. Don't know why you'd want to follow me anyways, I'm just heading back to work." Penny spoke as Sam looked at her.
"Help?" Sam asked as she looked at him and she nodded.
"That's all you needed to say." She said with a laugh as Sam laughed too.
