After that silent hug with Hunter you both eventually went out looking to find Viney to see if her magic is back.

"There you are." You say turning the corner.

Viney is leaning against a tree with her arms folded with a smirk on her face.

"What are you so happy about?" You say.

"Oh nothing, you guys are done crying and hugging eachother and confessing your undying love to one another?" She smiles.

"O-oh uh-" your face heats up.

Hunters ears turn red and he awkwardly looks the other way and scratches the back of his neck.

"S-shut your mouth." You say barely even able to spit those words out of your mouth.

You grab her arm and you start walking with her.

"Be quiet, let's get home." You grumble, face flushed.

Viney laughs to herself, and allows you to drag her along with you. You and Viney are upfront, you trying to return Viney back home.

Hunter awkwardly walks from behind. Head down, and hands behind his back. Too nervous to talk or join you and Vineys conversations.

"And then it ate my glove so now I have nothing." You grumble quietly so Hunter won't hear.

"If he finds out I have no magic he's only gonna be more protective." You whisper.

"But isn't that a good thing?" Viney asks.

"No! He shouldn't be worried." You grumble.

"That just mean he cares right?" She asks.

"Well... yeah- but, I wanna be able to not have to depend only on him." You fold your arms, and glance at him a little.

He blushes and looks away as soon as you look at him. You couldn't help but smile a little when you saw that.

"I'm curious about this guy." Viney says walking over to Hunter.

"VINEY-" you yell

"Hey mister golden guard." Viney grins proudly putting her hands on her hips.

Hunter flinches and sighs and then folds his arms.

"So how long have you guys known eachother?" Viney grins.

"Tch, since we were 3 or 4." Hunter grumbles.

"What's your best memory like childhood memory with her?" She asks.

"Um..." Hunter mumbles, embarrassed.

Viney takes out a notebook and pencil from her bag, eagerly waiting for a response. You facepalm yourself.

"I- I suppose when we were around 12? And exploring this cave?" He mumbles.

"Ooh 4 years ago?" Viney asks.

"I Guess?" He says.

"What about you Y/n, what's your favorite memory?" Viney asks.

"That time when you were little when you got chased by a swarm of fire bees when you were like 8." You say.

"You're such a jerk." He says.

"It was kinda funny." You chuckle.

"Alright my lovely couple! Next quest-"

"We're not a couple" You and Hunter say.

"Wait. I thought you thought that we are." You say to Hunter.

"Not until I have your word." He says.

"Awwww." Viney grins.
