Never again will the sorrows of our world knock us down and feast on our loved ones.
Never again will we starve each winter because the harvest was infested with locusts and our strongholds have fallen to the plague.
Never again will I stand back and watch as the world that reared me crumbles beneath the iron fist of reality. The world I love, the world I will give my life to create. That world is not this world, but it could be, and I will make it so.
We have fallen, but so has our world. When I sit in darkness the only place I can look is toward the light. Hope is a fault of humanity, but it is not limited to humanity, and it doesn't have to be a terrible fault.
