I'm not broken. I'm not unusual. I'm not the one who's failed the world, the world failed me first. Most people assume that anyone can get to the top with enough effort. They assume that anyone can dream and strive for greatness with ultimate success.
But some people just aren't destined for greatness. The world watches them as they fail, laughing at their inability to succeed. The world laughed at me, watching as I fell beneath my darkest hour, strangling me as I tried so hard to keep above the waves that dragged me downward.
I'm done with hope. What I need is results.

This means that if you're reading this after the next few chapters are up, but before the Q&A is up, there may be spoilers in the comments here so tread lightly.
