Full Moon

Spencer POV

It's already the next feel moon and I can't concentrate. The English teacher is speaking about analysing but I haven't heard a single word because my mind is on tonight.

"Spencer" my teacher says loudly, snapping me back to reality.
"Yes?" I ask.
"Did you hear the question?" He asks.
"Uhh... y-yeah" I start to say but the bell rings so I'm saved. I rush out before the teacher can catch me and practically run home.

When I get home I make sure mum isn't home before changing into a vest top and stretchy shorts.

When I get deep into the forest I sit on a log and wait for Scott.

I wait for an hour before someone comes, but it's not Scott. It's Danny.
"What the hell are you doing here?" I yell.
"I followed you" he admits.
"GOD! Why!?"
"I had to make sure you were OK" he says. I stare at him confused.
"What do you mean?" I ask.
"I know what you are" he tells me.
"I don't know what you're talk--"
"You're a hybrid"
"How do you know?" I ask.
"Your eyes... your smell. It's obvious"
"My smell? What the hell?" I yell.
"It doesn't matter, just let me help"
"Get out of here! My bite is lethal to you!" I growl.

Before I can say anything else I can feel the moon pulling and before I know it I'm transforming. All I can hear is my own screams and the cracking of my bones, one after the other.

Danny POV

I watch as her bones break, exactly the same as I've seen before. I walk over and put my hands on either side of her face, forcing her pain filled eyes to look at me. "Fight it" I say sternly.
"I... can't!" She yells between screams.
"Fight it!" I say louder. She stares at me, and I can see her trying to fight it. But it isn't enough. "Think of what you could do! You're dangerous when you're a wolf!" I yell.
"Help" she whimpers.
"Stay with me!"
"I can't" she cries.
"You CAN!" I shout loudly. I watch her eyes as I see her trying to fight it. But I can also see how much pain she's in. Before I can say anything else she turns into a wolf. Her whole appearance changes... everything apart from her eyes. The wolf stares at me and I can see it's hungry. I climb up the closest tree, watching her everywhere she goes.

The wolf doesn't acknowledge me, so I follow her for hours on end.

When the wolf changes back at dawn I'm still there. And Spencer is staring at me. "How did you do that?" She asks.
"Do what?" I reply.
"Get me to fight it..."
"I asked you to fight" I say confused.
"I've been trying for years and it's never worked! What makes you different?"
"I don't know" I mumble.
"Danny--"
"You should get home" I say quickly and hurry away from her.

Spencer POV

I sneak back into the house and into my warm bed, thinking about Danny. He can smell me when no one else can.
He notices my eyes when no one else does... and he got in my house without me hearing him... he's not normal.

When I wake up I leave the house immediately and go back to the woods where Danny left. I find his scent and follow it for almost 30 minutes. It leads all the way to a huge, mansion type house. His scent is very strong, and I can hear him walking about inside. I walk to the door and bang on it loudly. Danny answers almost immediately.
"I know what you are" I say.
"Take a guess" He says to me.
"You're a vampire"
