I stare at Travis, breathing heavily, "What the hell!! You can't just stand there like a creep!!"

"Uh, I just did." He mocks, grinning. I frown, looking him up and down. I notice he's wearing sweatpants and a red t-shirt. His car keys dangle down by his side, as he taps his foot repeatedly on the floor.

"Can I help you with something?" I ask, raising a brow.

"Nope." He replies flatly, shrugging, "Nothing at all."

"No?" I echo, confused.

"Yeah, I mean, like, I was at the gym originally but then I left and saw you in the crowd and I was like, 'Hey!! I know her!!' So, me being the way I am, came over to say hi!! Plus, I wanted to talk about earlier, so there's that too..."

Okay...

"But we cleared things up, didn't we? You aren't mad at me for spilling my drink, so now we can go back to not knowing each other." I state confused, and he raises a brow.

He shakes his head slightly, his black, fluffy hair falling in his face as he mutters, " 'Go back to not knowing each other'? Ouch. You sure are hurting my feelings. And, yeah, no, I can't do that."

"You can't?"

"No." He replies smirking a bit, stuffing his hand in his sweatpants pocket, "You're not particularly easy to forget, Little One."

Here he goes with this Little One name again...

"It's Tiffany as stated earlier." I reply, rolling my eyes. "Right, Tiffany. Got it." He replies, leaning in a little closer. Our eyes lock, and I start feeling nervous at the intense eye contact.

Voice low, Travis states huskily, "I'll be sure to remember that, Tiffany."

I blush, swallowing hard. His eyes search mine for a brief moment, and I quickly step back. I then ask shyly, "And...why is it that you can't forget me?"

He pauses thinking, biting the inside of his cheek. He stands upright, and I watch, feeling increasingly worried by the second.

"Well," He suddenly chuckles, his eyes softening, "after our little encounter at the party...then at your job...then in the school hallway...and then in the classroom, I haven't really forgotten about you. In other words, you've left a lasting impression on me, Tiffany Green."

He's being serious...

Why?!

I stare at him as he casually states, seriousness in his eyes, "So, no. I can't go back to not knowing you. I just can't, so that's not happening."

THIS can't be happening!!

He tilts his head slightly to the right, his face softening with concern as he asks, raising a brow, "What's with the panic on your face?"

"But what about Daniel?" I ask frantically, pushing up my glasses. "What about him?" He asks, brows furrowing, "Is he here?? Where is he??"

"No, he's not here, it's just you and Daniel really don't like each other! And if he saw you with me, that's going to end terribly!" I reply anxiously, biting my lip. "What? You embarrassed to be seen with me?" He asks, a playful grin on his face.

"NO! I-" "I'm kidding, Tiny." He interrupts, holding back his laughs. He shakes his head, "You take things too seriously."

Running a hand through his thick, jet-black hair, he replies, "I know what you meant and I honestly couldn't give less of a shit about your brother's opinion. And you shouldn't either. But if it would make you feel better, we'll just keep this a secret between us. Can't be a problem if he doesn't know."
