I roam around the kitchen, gathering the ingredients for the cookies I plan to make. I see something in the corner of my eye and look over to see Yugo standing by the couch. I smile.

"Hey, Yugo! What's up?" I ask.

"Nothing really. Today is a rest day for me. I heard noise from the kitchen, so I thought I'd check it out. What are you making?"

"Chocolate chip cookies. Wanna help?"

"Sure!" he says. He joins me in the kitchen and looks around.

"I just finished getting all of the ingredients and equipment out, so now we can get to the fun part!"

"What should I do?" I point at the flour, baking soda, and salt.

"Dump those in the smaller bowl. They're already measured out," I instruct. He nods.

"Yes sir!" I chuckle. I pour the sugars, vanilla extract, and butter into the large mixing bowl and turn on the stand mixer. As it mixes, I scrape down the sides of the bowl with a spatula. When it's all mixed in, I turn the mixer off and crack one of the eggs before turning it back on again. After repeating the process, I look over at Yugo and see him just watching me.

"Yugo? What are you-"

"You're so handsome~" he murmurs. I blush scarlet and look back at the bowl in front of me.

"C-Can you pass me the bowl you were using?" I ask, flustered. He sets the bowl on the counter next to the mixer and wraps his arms around me from behind, resting his head on my shoulder.

"What's the next step?" he asks.

"We need to combine the flour mixture with the stuff in the big bowl-" He quickly releases me and picks up the small bowl.

"Can I do it?" I nod, turning on the mixer. He smiles and dumps all the flour in before I can stop him. As soon as he does, a cloud of flour puffs up into our faces. I stifle a laugh at his confused expression.

"You were supposed to do small parts at a time, Love," I laugh. He pouts.

"Hey, don't laugh at me!" I giggle and kiss his cheek.

"Sorry, Babe~" His face softens and he ruffles my hair.

We get the cookies in the oven without any more trouble, although Yugo does have to stop me from eating too much cookie dough. When we take them out, we set them on the counter to cool. He picks one up and takes a bite before letting out a small yelp and putting it down.

"What happened?!"

"Too hot!" he says. "I think I burned my mouth." I frown.

"Here, let me," I lean in and kiss him softly. He smiles and wraps his arms around me. We stand like this for a moment before pulling away, smiling.

"I love you~💙" he whispers, resting his forehead against mine.

"I love you too~💙"
