The officer seemed comforted by Por's assurance and nodded his head.

"Before I send you on your way, here are all the items you need."

He took out a brown duffle bag and pushed it at Por. Por puts the bag down and opened it.

Por took out a stack of garments.

"Earth clothes and undergarments, for you to wear throughout your stay. Wash them in something called a washing machine when it gets dirty."

He took out a Ziplock bag.

"Essentials like toothbrush and toothpaste."

He took out a brown envelope.

"Open it."

Por opened the brown envelope. He took out a wad of paper.

"What are these?"

"Money. On Earth, money will get you things. You pay for everything with money."

"Everything?"

"Everything."

Por took out a watch from inside the brown envelope.

"What about this?"

"This is the most important item. This would record all the information you collect from that person. If you want to come back to the Moon, wear this at all times so the information can be accurately collected."

Por wore the watch.

"Make sure you have the watch with you at all times. Any more questions?"

"Where would I stay?"

"That is something you would have to figure out yourself. Any more questions?"

Por shook his head.

"Good, now let's send you on your way. You would be travelling down a tumbling tunnel. In the tunnel keep your eyes closed and your hands tucked behind your head at all times. Any movements detected will reprogram the system."

"What happens if I accidentally reprogram the system?"

"Child, you ask too many questions."

"It's for my safety."

"You might be sent somewhere you are not supposed to be. Always keep your eyes closed, hands tucked behind your head."

With that, the officer gave Por a little push and he swung right behind a glass panel. He then looked at Por and mouthed 3 seconds to take off. Por closed his eyes and tucked his hands behind his head. His brown duffel bag was placed on the floor beside him. He heard a loud whirring sound and felt an intense gush of air blowing from above him. After that, felt the floor below him giving way and he started to fall. He screamed as his body hit the walls of the tunnels. All of a sudden, he felt an intense ache in his right leg. He recognised the pain; his leg was cramping up. In the moment of despair, the words of the officer left him and he pried his eyes open. Por untucked his hands and grabbed his leg trying to soothe the pain. Then the sound of the tunnel changed. Instead of the constant whirring he heard, it became a shriek so sharp he felt like he might go deaf. It was only then that he remembered the words of the officer. But it was too late. He landed head first. Surprisingly, he felt no pain. He quickly sat up. He had landed on a bed and the duffel bag had landed right beside him. Por looks around to realise that he was in a room.

"Who are you?"

Por turned around and saw a person with centre-parted hair staring right at him. He moved his face until he was only inches away from Por. Por moved back and almost fell to the floor. The person grabs him and said this time a little more menacingly

"Who are you?"

Por stared right at him speechless. He felt his legs going weak. The person continued interrogating him.

"You just dropped onto the bed. I didn't even see where you came from. How could you just appear?

Are you an alien?"

Por looked at the person in fear and from the pain of his journey to Earth he began to tear up. He couldn't help himself. It started with soft sobs as he tried to hold back his tears. But they wouldn't listen to him and before he knew it his tears started trickling down his cheeks. The person's expression began to soften. He grabbed a packet of tissue from the nightstand beside the bed and passed it to Por. Por wiped his tears. For a long while, the room was just filled with the sound of Por's sobs. The person sitting awkwardly beside him. Por looks at him and speaks.

"I am not an alien. Don't call me an alien."

"Then what are you? Where did you come from?"

"That's not important. I am just here to look for someone."

"Who?"

"I can't tell you."

"Then you have to go."

"No, please. I need a place to stay at least for tonight."

"You want me to trust you?"

At that moment Por remembered what the officer has told him. With money, one can buy anything. He will buy a place to stay tonight.

"I have money. I'll pay you. How much do you want?"

"2000 baht."

"Ok."

"Huh?"

"I'll pay you 2000 baht. Just let me stay here."

Por opened the duffel bag and takes out the brown envelope containing the money. He passed 2000 to the person. Before the person could react the door of the room opened. The person outside the door speaks.

"Bro, I am just here to return... oh you have a visitor I'll come back later."

Por looked in the direction of the door and he caught a glimpse of a person with wavy hair, big eyes, and chocolate-coloured skin. Tiw. Por was certain that the person at the door was Tiwson.
