Por woke up the next morning feeling rested, something he hasn't felt in a while. At the Moon, his sleep was mostly laced with dreams that woke him early in the morning. Sometimes he would wake up before the crack of dawn unable to go back to sleep after. He mostly dreamed of a boy sitting in a vehicle, his face covered in blood and crying. In his dream, he saw a man coming to the boy. The man scooped the boy up and ran. He heard an explosion. He saw the man carrying the boy crying. Then the dream ended and he would wake up in a pile of sweat and tears. Por had no idea why he dreamed of this so often. This dream had been recurring since he was very young. Waking up feeling rested is something he hasn't experienced in a long time. He looked around the room and there was no one in it. He wondered where did Jorn go? He checked his watch, it was 10am. Just then, the door opened and Jorn appeared with many plastic bags. He went to the pantry and started taking bowls and plates which he laid on the table. Then he filled them with food from the plastic bag. When he was done, he gestured to Por to come to eat. Por left the bed and sat on the desk with Jorn.

"Why are you so nice to me?"

"Do you want me to be mean?"

"No."

"Then why did you ask?"

"You...barely know me."

"I can sense that you are a nice person."

Jorn started eating hungrily and Por followed suit. The food touched Por's mouth and he realised how hungry he was. He swallowed quickly and Jorn looked at him in surprise. He told him to slow down and that there was plenty for the both of them. Por laughed and told Jorn that he couldn't help himself because the food was simply too delicious. Jorn laughed and patted him on the head. While eating, they talked about their favourite things to do. Jorn told Por that he enjoyed going to the beach. Por asked why. Jorn told Por that the beach reminded him of childhood. His family brought him to the beach often. Jorn then asked Por what his favourite thing to do was. Por is slightly stumped at the question and took a little while to respond. He never had any hobbies. He finally said that his favourite thing was listening to music and playing the keyboard. Jorn then asked why. Por took a deep breath in. He frowned and thought to himself what a difficult question this wa. Jorn noticed his expression change and told him that he doesn't have to answer if he wasn't ready.

"I think it's because it keeps me company."

"Are you always by yourself?"

"Mostly."

"Do you have friends?"

"Not many. I guess you can say that music is my best friend."

"Do you feel lonely?"

Por shrugged.

"I think I've grown so accustomed to loneliness I stopped noticing it."

Upon replying, Por puts his head down and continued to eat. Jorn peered down at him eating his food. Por saw him from the corner of his eye and almost choked. Jorn laughed and Por hit him on the shoulder.

"I just wanted to get your attention."

"You almost killed me."

"Just wanted to tell you, I would be your friend."

Por looked at Jorn in shock. No one has ever told him that they would be his friend. Por smiled and Jorn smiled back. They continued eating and after they cleaned up together. Por volunteered to help wash the dishes. Jorn told him to sit down and said he got it all handled. Por looked through his brown duffel bag and took out the envelope. He took out another 2000 baht and placed it on the desk. Jorn saw it and looked apologetically at Por.

"I'll return the money to you when I have enough."

"You don't have to it is our agreement."

At that moment, the door opened again and Tiwson came in dressed in a polo top and pants. He looked at Por. Poor took a look at himself realising how shabby he was in comparison. He smiled sheepishly and rummaged through the duffle bag for clothes. He then gestured for Tiwson to wait as he goes to the toilet to get change. Jorn looked at Tiwson and said

"Take care of my cousin."

"With my life."
