Chapter 8: Sweet today

Amethyst POV

" So..... Basically you want me? To join a live adaptation of the manga sweet today? " I asked kana and aqua.

" Yes! I have seen your acting skills first hand! And mr. Kaburagi wanted you to be apart of it, of course you can decline if you don't want to. " Kana explained to me.

" Then i humbly decline your offer. " Kana was shocked, but she seems to have known my answer already. " I see, it can't be helped then. "

Kana the genius actor, tried to trick me. By crying and making me join.

" That's old you know? That crying trick of yours. " I said to kana, she just giggled and said " You really are a natural-born actor, to know if I'm acting or not. "

I was flustered but....

" Than- " I was cut of by kana.

" And that's exactly why I want you to join! " *Sigh* Are all of the people I meet, brain dead? Why can't they understand if I say no.

" I'll think about it alright? *Sigh* " Kana was satisfied with my answer and talks to aqua after.

As I was thinking if I will consider or not, the coffee that I'm brewing was finished. I transferred it over to a mug.

I blew over it, and then took a sip.....

" Haaaa! This is paradise... A coffee each morning really does keep me relaxed "

" A coffee a day's good, but. You should limit yourself sometimes you know. " Ichigo-san said, and I nodded. " A kid like you, so hardworking... Can't really see your types around this world that much anymore. "

I was flattered by ichigo-san words.

" I will, I promise. " Ichigo-san then gave me a pat in my head.

" That's good! By the way can you fix this part of me? " Ichigo-san then passed me over the tablet, and it shows financial stuff.

The day of filming, finally arrived. Both me and Aqua made our way towards the area of movie set.

And there we saw, kana. Talking with someone.

When she saw us, she waved at us and the guy that she was talking to look at us.

The guy in question, judged our appearance. But he didn't seem to have seen any flaw so he tried to pass by us.

I made eye contact with aqua, he then got my message.

" My name's hoshino aqua, a pleasure to meet you! " Aqua introduced himself.

" My name's Hoshino Amethyst, a pleasure to work with you! " I introduced myself also, but he just replied with " Sure ".

Aqua was frustrated, on how he was treated. But me? Didn't care...

I know aqua has a motive coming here....

Me? Kana has been bombarding me with messages every hour to not make me change my mind.

" We're already here aqua, so we might as well just do our best with acting, right? " I faced aqua, but he wasn't there.
