I truly apologize for the slow update but I try to update all my oneshot books frequently and daily even though I don't always succeed and for that I apologize 😓

Dazai, Ranpo and Atsushi were sent into a mission together, Ranpo didn't know what he was doing here knowing that he wasn't really qualified for those sorts of things and yet the boss sent them all three together.

At an unfortunate turn of event they got ambushed and tied up. It escalated really quickly as they got pushed over on a truck.

-This is bad... declared Ranpo.

-Guys, we gotta stay optimistic. assure Atsushi.

-We're all gonna diiiiieeee.... whined Ranpo.

-Yay! said joyfully Dazai.

-Mr.Dazai please! exclaimed Atsushi, clearly done with the two.

-Such a cruel fate... I'd die with an empty stomach....declared dramatically Ranpo.

-You ate 3 minutes ago! exclaimed Atsushi.

-I'm starving....whined Ranpo.

-Is anyone going to save us? asked Dazai. I have a date tonight!

-I have a date too, you're not that special, y'know?! exclaimed Ranpo slightly annoyed.

-I was supposed to ask them out too...whined Atsushi.

-Welp, we're in deep shit. declared Dazai.

-We're getting dumped for real. added Ranpo.

The three man sighed deeply. Ranpo then looked around and saw something in the window car.

A purple little ghost.

Ranpo then smirked and his face lit up.

-Welp, nevermind, ya'll are getting dumped and killed, while I'm getting rescued~

-What exactly makes you think that? asked Dazai, a bit irritated.

-You'll see~

That only pissed the two man even more and they sighed in exasperation.

Suddenly the truck started to move and the they could hear agitation in the driver's seats.

Suddenly, the backdoor of the truck opened and a man in a black coat appeared.

-Aku?! exclaimed Atsushi in surprise.

-Jinko, you need to be more careful on missions, let's go.

-Huh, looks like your partners are also breaking you out. states Ranpo.

-RRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNPPPPPOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! yelled a voice.

-Mushi♡︎.replied joyfully Ranpo.

A man in a green suit appeared and held Ranpo's shoulder.

-WHERE WERE YOU?!! I WAS WORRIED SICK!!!!

-As you can see-

-I HAD TO LIE TO EDGAR TO NOT MAKE HIM WORRY, DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND THAT, DINGUS??!!

-I got ambushed on a mission I wasn't even supposed to go to.

-Fair enough.

-Wow.

He let go of his shoulder and pulled him into a hug.

-I'm glad you're safe.

-Aaaaw, thanks for saving me.

Meanwhile, Akutagawa was untying everyone.

-Aku, where did the drivers go? asked Atsushi.

-Well, let's say they're in good hands and the host will soon be done. replied Akutagawa with a smirk.

Atsushi have him a confused glance as he finnaly was untied and held his wrist a bit in pain.

Akutagawa held his lover's wrist, it had been tied pretty tight and now it was slightly red, that only made Akutagawa's fury go next level.

-Aku, calm down, I'm fine now.

-Yeah me too. stated Dazai, definitely hating thirdwheeling two couples.

They got out of public sight for a while.

Akutagawa visibly was waiting for something, or someone.

Atsushi gave him a questioning look but looked up as he heard a shreek.

-CAAAAARRREEEEEEFFUUUUUUUUL!!!

A pink haired girl fell from what seemed like the sky, she landed on Akutagawa's arms.

-Lucy! What are you doing here?

-Taking care of the kidnappers, thank you Ryu, you can put me down now.

Akutagawa did as he was told and gently put her down.

The three lovers started to talk and flirt as Dazai sighed.

-Well, at least I can go to my date with my wonderful Blondie.

-Ew.

-Shut up Ranpo.

-He'll never like you back, you know that, right?

-I haven't lost hope.

-Poor soul, you should.

Mushitarō grabbed Ranpo by the hand.

-We should go now.

-Good Idea.

The two man left as Dazai directed himself to Kunikida's school.

When he got in front of his class, he had a devilish idea.

When Kunikida's classes were over, he left the room when all the students left.

Then he heard a little whiny voice.

-Heeeelp...

-Huh? Dazai? What happened?

-I wanted to scare you by jumping out of nowhere.... But I got stuck between the two lockers...

Kunikida sighed and dragged the man out of the two lockers.

Dazai fell on the teacher's chest, when they realized in what position they were in, they became red and pulled back.

Kunikida cleared his throat.

-Sh-Shall we..?

-Yup..

Meanwhile, at the Mushiranpoe's household

Mushitarō and Ranpo got back home as if nothing had happened, Poe was waiting on the table, a serious look on his face.

-Heeeey Eeeed!

-How are you, Edgar?

-Don't play dumb, I saw the news, sit this instant.

-Oh boy..

-We're fucked..
