When I walked into breakfast the next morning, you could feel the tension in the room. This was because of Jason announcing the first elimination would take place today after the Report was finished. Also, some of the girls were trying to figure out who the "eye-catching girl" that he mentioned last night. Most of them were shooting death glares at me.

"Hey guys!" I exclaimed quietly to Amber, Cecilia, and Carol.

"Hey!" they chorused back. I could see they were trying to hide their worries. I would tell them that they wouldn't go home today, but I honestly didn't know, so I didn't say anything.

"I'm just so nervous I can eat an entire horse," Cecilia started. "Eating is comforting to me."

"I can eat an entire horse anytime," I joked. "Not an actual one, but the food equivalent." That made them smirk.

"Why are you so happy?" Susie muttered snottily.

"Whenever I eat food, I don't give a damn," I replied steadily. "If I have to choose between life or food, I'll choose food, 100%." I took a huge bite out of my waffle. She rolled her eyes and turned back to her food.

"Are you always that smart?" Amber asked, trying to hold in her giggles.

"Yep! It also comes with sarcasm and bold opinions." We all gently giggled, trying not to draw unwanted attention from Gloria.

After the Royal Family left the dining room, except Jason, an eerie hush fell over us.

"So, as you Ladies know, there will be an elimination now," he informed. "If I call your name, then stay in here. If I don't, then head to the Women's Room." Instantly, I knew that the girls who would stay in the dining room would be going home.

"Lady Diane, Lady Julia, Lady Penelope, Lady Maria, Lady Janie, Lady Emma, Lady Monica, Lady Jadyn, and Lady Amber." Carol, Cecilia, and I lightly gasped. You could hear some sighs of relief and disappointment all over the room. Janie and Monica started crying silently.

"It's fine," Amber said calmly and quietly, trying to be brave. I could see tears well up in her eyes since she knows she's going home after only a couple of days. "Go." Us three slowly made our way to the Women's Room in silence.

"The bright side is that we all had fun with each other," I mentioned, trying to break the silence.

"At least she isn't being led on," Cecilia added. "That always leads to eventual heartbreak."

"Yeah," Carol sighed. "And she'll get a boyfriend soon enough."

Sometime after dinner, I found myself reading on my balcony while my maids organized my closet. Since it was still light out, I was in my dark blue one-shoulder daydress covered in white polkadots. My matching dark blue heels were slipped off of my feet and on the wooden floor. It was nice out, so I didn't need to wear a jacket. My jewelry consisted of flat white oval earrings, a white-jeweled necklace, and a simple gold bracelet. My hair was in slight curls that rested on my right shoulder.

At about 7:30-ish, I heard a knock at my cracked-open door. As I put down my book, Leela scurried out of the closet to answer the door.

"Your Majesty," she greeted, going right into a curtsy.

"Good evening, miss," Jason replied just as warmly. "Is Lady Kealee here? I need to speak with her."

"I'm here," I said as I strolled up and curtsied. "I'll call for you ladies later." Once again, they curtsied as they left. "Come on in!" I held open the door and shut it. We took our seats on the balcony.

"So, what's up?" I asked.

"Well, remember our bet?" he started. "If I recall correctly, I won, so you have to go on a date with me." He smirked and put his feet on the railing.

"Sadly, yes," I joked. We chuckled.

"Well, tomorrow afternoon, it would be my pleasure to take you on a picnic."

"I can't say no, can I?" I sighed.

"No." We both laughed.

"Then yes, I will go on a picnic with you."

He smiled victoriously. "Well, I must go, but I'll see you tomorrow. Goodnight, Kealee." He gently took my hand and kissed it as he stood up and left.

Never in a million years would I think the heir of the Illéan throne would like me, let alone want me to be his first date.

What was even crazier is that I'm starting to like him, too.

This is going to hurt like a b*tch.
