YOUNG-SOO POV

AS MY husband had warned me at my home garden was true. He was going to study in a more developed area of Busan.

Though he was gone, he would come for vacations. When he come back, he would always bring clothes & hairpins for me.

The ladies also soon get married after my marriage. Their husbands work and make money. We all always had gatherings and some tea parties.

At that moment they talk about their life being perfect. How their husbands bring money & shared their bed experience also.

It's been 3 years now. Our village had devolved a bit and they even build educational buildings for man also.

I don't know why but I feel happy having my husband in front of my eyes. He told me, he will gonna took Taekwondo classes in our village in the new building.

He told me he will become a public servant; a police officer. I pray to all Gods above anticipating for him to be one in the future.

This evening he went to his Taekwondo class. I get ready to go for the tea party with the ladies.

Soon I reached Lana's home garden.

"Hello, Young-soo." Rin greeted me as I smiled at her.

Rin get married last year and is pregnant right now. She's 18- one year younger than me. I accompanied her throughout the evening. I don't know why? I just feel protective of her. Maybe I think of her as my best friend or a sister.

"My husband bought me gold. He brought that with the money he get from his clothing business." Wo-ri giggled while drinking her tea.

"Oh!" Everyone teased her as her cheeks redden.

"My husband recently get the land behind our old embroidery building. He said our kids will have it. It sounds more promising than gold." Lana made a proud face.

"It's just a land. Tell me if your husband gets you a house because that's more promising & richer." Wo-ri scoffed.

Lana rolled her eyes and her eyes fall on me... Unfortunately.

"Young-soo, Did your husband buy you anything?" She asked. Before I could talk she added, "Omo, I forgot your husband doesn't have any income. He was a city guy but it didn't bring any fortune. Aww, I feel bad for you."

"True, you married such an incapable person with no future. You should not have married him in the first place. Oh! Isn't been 3 years already. You're still unfruitful." Wo-ri laughed as I clenched my fist suppressing the urge to punch her jaw as my husband taught me to do.

Yet still, I forced a smile out.

"You shouldn't have married for his face, Young-soo. He has no income & you both are fruitless. My son this year will be three years old."

My heart clenched, their words hurt me.

I asked my husband about the kids but he told me it was not the time. My family looked down on me but now it's the ladies here. I looked down at my flat stomach.

"Don't talk rude, Wo-ri & Lana. It looks & sounds soo unladylike." Rin give them a sarcastic smile.

A drop of cold water fell on my hand. I frown looking up as the raindrops started falling faster.
