JUNGKOOK POV

THE ALCOHOL smell made me scrunch my nose as I eat the meat while my friends were laughing.

I officially become a police officer. My dream comes true. I was giving the party I promised to give if I ever became an officer.

Yes, I am happy but I wished I have not made the promise. Right now, All I can think about is my wife.

She must be at home, helping my mom wash the dishes and getting ready for bed. She won't sleep, I know it by heart. She always waits for me. And am damn sure she will today too.

By the time I get home, it's past midnight. I slowly opened our room door assuming that she was asleep and guess what!

She's actually asleep in a sitting position.

Ahh! That looks painful.

I softly chuckled & rub my face trying to sober up. Moving closer to my darling, I softly pulled her to my chest laying down. Her body moved unconsciously and her small arms encircled my waist as her leg fell between mine.

"Goodnight, darling." Whispering I feel myself pass out.

Years went by today is my 28th birthday. My family & friends congratulated me & gifted me but...

My darling gift is on top of everything.

She's pregnant.

I'm going to become a father.

"Slow down, my head is spinning." She yelled laughing as I spin her around in my arms. Her small arms tapped on my shoulder muscles.

"Oh, Darling!" I grinned widely bending her down and attacking her lips with mine.

I should show her my surprise. She deserves it after all the things she has done for me.

"Where are we going?" I smiled taking her into the train and we soon reached the city.

"I have a surprise for you, Darling." I slowly brushed my lips over her thumb and took her to our new home.

"Is_ is this ours?" Her eyes are wide & cheeks are red.

I laughed, "Yes, Darling. Come inside." I took her hand once again taking her in.

Her eyes held amusement and admiration. She giggled running around the house.

"Be careful, Darling. You are pregnant remember!" She jumped around and come running into my arms. Her soft arms were around my neck and her feet were on my feet.

I softly smiled swaying lightly & brushed my nose over hers.

"Do you like it? I've been saving up money for years to prepare this house for you."

"I love it." and hide her face into my chest, "Now, we can stay together instead I wait for you at the village, right." She shyly whispered.

"Yes, Darling."

She looked up at me with her chin pressed to my chest, eyes in a hard frown & rosy lips on pout.

"That's not my name."

God, she's soo cute. I chuckled.
