"Mam you called?" Haechan reached the staff room towards the English teacher after getting informed by a random student that he was asked there.

"Yes Donghyuck, come here have a seat" Mrs. Kim smiled and gestured him to take a seat which he respectfully did.

"I heard about your sister, I want to give my condolence and warm wishes to your family and you, stay strong" she said with a sad and sympathetic look and Haechan couldn't help but nod slowly in response.

"And today I called you not only for this but also for your summary which you wrote" she said with a small smile forwarding the notebook to the boy who looked quiet confused.

"My summary?"

The teacher nodded.

"Your homework today was really one of the best summaries I have ever read, even the vocabs you used are amazing, I hope you work little bit more on other subjects and you will see yourself in one of the prestigious universities too like others" Mrs. Kim appreciated making the boy look at her with wide eyes still in disbelief.

This is the first time he even got complimented aside from that even a positive comment that he can get admitted to a good university too.
Haechan was always portrayed as the bad boy of the school making the teachers hate him to his guts.

They always scolded him and told he won't be able to get in any university with scores and attitude like the present one.

Everyone thought that he ignores their comments but deep down he himself knows how much it effects him too knowing he won't be able to make it.

This is the first time the teacher appreciated him though it's not his own hard work but atleast he got to listen once that he can go to a good university too if he works little hard and that changes a lot.

"Thank you mam"

he smiled and the teacher continued telling him how much he has to work hard and in which field.

"Sir, these are the names of the students I personally selected for the debate club"
Haechan turned around looking over his shoulder at the girl who was busy talking to their homeroom teacher.

It seems she didn't noticed his presence.

"So Donghyuck, I hope to see good scores from you in upcoming exams" Mrs. Kim completed and he looked back at her with a nod and a smile.

"You can go now and yeah tell Jihye to meet me after the school ends" she said and engaged herself in some copy correction.

The boy immediately stood up with a nod and a bow walking straight out towards the girl who was on her way back to class holding some paper in her grip.

"Captain!"

Jihye turned around and a smile automatically formed on her lips as she waved at the boy and Haechan walked towards her with hands in pocket.
