                      THE EPILOGUE

We walked down the road for what seemed like ages. It felt as if my legs were about to snap. The weapons on my back were just adding more weight to me. I was tired. The last time I slept was almost a week ago. We had gotten some water and food today but that was it. I hated it all, it was the worst.

We walked down the road for what felt like miles. We were looking for some sort of shop or place that might have any food or water. I had run out of almost everything in my backpack. I began searching around the other sides of the road when my heart almost skipped a beat.

"A GROCERY STORE!" i yelled

We all began running towards the building and barged through the front doors. It was smaller than the grocery store that we had gone to before. We all ran through the front entrance of the building and went through the doors. We were now stocked.

We rushed to the shelves and grabbed as much stuff as we could. Our arms and bags were completely filled by the time we had been done. We walked down next to most of the shelves and noticed a little camp set up in the middle, there were people inside of the camp.

"HEY!" i yelled

They looked over and we began walking down towards them. They cheered at the sight of more survivors. We walked through the large gate they had made. It was around twelve feet tall. It was quite impressive how much they had made.

There were walls made of couches, tables and even chairs. We stepped around on the pathway and went inside of a tent where several people greeted us and gave us food.

"How are you?" they asked,

"Good" I said

"How About You?" i asked them

"Decent" most of them said
