Rachel Lynch had just arrived at the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU), and she was eager to make a good impression on her new colleagues. As she settled at her new desk, she couldn't help but notice Dr. Spencer Reid. He was deep in thought, surrounded by stacks of books, and Rachel couldn't help but be drawn to him.

She walked over to his desk and saw that he was reading a novel by Fyodor Dostoevsky. "That's a great book," she said, unable to hide her excitement. "What do you think of it?"

Reid looked up from his book, surprised by Rachel's sudden appearance. "Oh, hi," he said, a small smile playing at the corners of his lips. "I think it's brilliant, but also very dark."

Rachel nodded in agreement. "It is dark, but I think that's what makes it so compelling. Have you read anything else by Dostoevsky?"

Reid's eyes lit up. "Yes, I love Crime and Punishment. It's one of my all-time favorites."

They spent the next hour discussing Dostoevsky and their favorite books. Rachel was thrilled to find someone who shared her passion for literature, and she couldn't help but be drawn to Reid's intelligence and wit.

As the days went by, Rachel and Reid continued to bond over their love of literature. They would often meet up in the break room to discuss their latest reads, and Rachel couldn't help but feel a flutter in her stomach every time she saw him.

They continued to chat about their favorite books, sharing insights and recommendations. As they talked, Rachel found herself becoming increasingly drawn to Reid. He was intelligent, passionate, and kind, and she felt a connection with him that she had never felt with anyone else.

As  weekly meetings between them both started, Rachel and Reid's friendship turned into something more. They began to flirt and tease each other, their conversations becoming more personal as they shared details about their lives outside of work.

Rachel couldn't help but feel a spark between her and Reid as they chatted and joked around. His quick wit and deep knowledge of literature made her feel alive, and she found herself drawn to him more and more each day.

As they discussed their favorite books, their conversations began to veer towards more personal topics. Rachel found herself sharing things she had never told anyone before, and Reid seemed genuinely interested in her life and experiences.

She felt a flutter in her stomach every time he teased her, and she couldn't help but respond with her own teasing banter. It was a game between them, a dance of words and wit that made her feel alive.

Their flirting became more intense as the weeks went by, and Rachel found herself wanting to be around Reid more and more. She would look forward to their conversations and felt a sense of disappointment when they were cut short by work obligations.

Their playful banter eventually turned into something more, with Rachel finding herself drawn to Reid's intelligence and kindness. She found herself thinking about him more and more, wondering what it would be like to be with him.

Despite the risks involved in dating a coworker, Rachel couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation as their relationship continued to develop. She knew that it was risky, but she also knew that she had found someone special in Reid.

As Rachel and Spencer were discussing a particularly dense chapter of a novel, Spencer couldn't help but be drawn to Rachel's playful smile and sparkling eyes. "You know, I think we could solve all the world's problems if we just had a book club," he teased.

Rachel laughed. "I think you might be onto something there, Dr. Reid. We could start with all the great works of literature and work our way up to the technical manuals."
