Pleasant Valley Memorial Park 7:30 a.m.

In a small Catholic cemetery a small, near gravel path rubs through the stately old monuments into a small valley where a funeral is taking place. Faint sobbing can be heard, the sound of a mother grieving over a child taken much to soon. A procession of six or seven goth kids appear on the crest of the hill. They move forward into cemetery. They are dressed in capes, chains, neon hair pieces, mesh, combat boots. They are Ruby's friends. One girl scatters blood red rose petals dramatically on the path as she stumbled along, weeping. At the bottom of the hill, Ruby Mae's very conservative looking family stands next to the fresh grave, surrounded by sympathetic mourners. Castiel stands near the back, looking shell shocked. There are also a few press photographers snapping photos, and of course, a Catholic priest.

"We gather here today to celebrate the life of Ruby Mae who was plucked from the prime of...."  The priest and family are momentarily distracted by the crew of goths descending in the funeral. The priest clears his throat disapprovingly.  "What is this.... disturbance?" He asked.

"These are Ruby's friends" The father replies, reluctantly giving the group a pass to be here because his daughter would want them to be. One of the girls in the group runs up to the grave and drops to her stomach.

"Ruby, take me with you! I belong down there, in the darkness!!" She sobs. Ruby's father cringes slightly at the scene she is making.

"No Claire. These are just her earthly remains. She's among the dark angels of the realm now. Fly Ruby, into the firmament" a different girl declares and lights a bundle of sage and waves it in the air. Ruby's father gags, appalled.

A boy speaks up "is it cool if we camp here for a few days? We want to commune with her corpse. She was our spooky home girl" His voice has a slow drawl to it. The priest clears his throat

"Children, this is a private service. Family only" His tone is firm.

The girl turns to Ruby's mother. "Oh right. I need to ask you something Mrs. Mae.  It's really important for me to have closure"

"Young lady, have some respect for the family-" the priest starts, but her mother waves him off, wanting to hear what this girl possibly had to say to her.

"It's fine" she says, her voice tight.

"Is it true that Ruby had a date with Dean Winchester the night she was killed?" She says Dean's name like it was the most disgusting name imaginable. Castiel covers his face.  "Because Dean Winchester is a social disease. He's not like us. He thinks he's so special cause he's popular and is what 'society' considers attractive, but he's not sincere. He's about as emo as a breast implant. I know Ruby Mae would never go out with someone like that. I just need confirmation from you. So, did she?"

"Did she...." Ruby's mother trails off, a little lost.

"Have a date with Dean Winchester" she elaborates. Ruby's parents stare at the ground.

"Oh god, oh god I knew it!" She says. "That asshole. I will erase him. I'll put a freaky druid spell on him!" She snarled "I'll pepper spray his peppy ass right into the ground" she punches her own hand and ruby's parents flinch.
