The narrow road stretched farther and farther passed the corn fields to the right and the telephone poles to the left. The shining morning sun shimmered brightly.

Team Bee rode down along with it in a straight line. All three bots were transformed to their vehicle modes, with Grim in Dinobot mode, and humans and a Mini-con riding along inside.

Bumblebee was leading first, holding both Denny and Russell in his cab. Sideswipe came right behind with Fixit in his signature (yet adorable) human disguise in Side's passenger seat. Then, lastly, Strongarm pulling the trailer holding Grimlock who was under a large white sheet.

The team has been driving for two days straight. Bumblebee said that they did not have the time to stop for the night for the humans to rest. Instead, he had them sleep in his cab as he and the others continued to drive.

Sideswipe let out an exhausting groan. "Did we really have to drive all the way down here, Bee?"

"Yes," Bumblebee answered. "We did."

"Couldn't we had taken Fracture's ground bridge?" Sideswipe asked.

"He's right, sir." Strongarm added. "We had just gotten it from Fracture only two weeks ago. It could've saved us a lot of time."

"I already told you." Bee said. "Fixit couldn't repair it in time since it short circuited from that crash. And besides, this is how I traveled here when I was with Team Prime twenty years ago. I want you guys to experience that, too."

"Didn't you guys have a ground bridge?" Sideswipe asked.

"Well, yes, but it was Optimus' order to drive instead; so there."

-~*~-

Twelve minutes passed.

Denny and Russell sat quietly in the front two seats of Bee's cab, listening to his radio.

Their luggage was in the back seat: Two carry-on bags (one large and one small) and a small cardboard box with five holes punched in on top.

As the two humans listened along to the song playing, the sound of shuffling grew.

Russell looked over the passenger seat to see the cardboard box moving side to side. He reached over and hit the box slightly, it then stopped and sat quietly in the back seat.

Russell got back to sit completely in his seat and looked out the window. Denny looked at his son, puzzled.

"Got something in that box, Champ?" Denny asked.

Russell looked away from the window and towards his father.

"It's nothing, really," he answered. "Just a little something for Bee's 'old friends'. Maybe there might be someone around my age."

"I doubt that, Russell." Bumblebee said, butting into the conversation. "They're like Cybertronians. They don't really age that much. I don't even think that they start off small."

Russell leaned back and again looked out the window to the large new scenery. A blank yet sad look was now showing on his face.

:Sir, is that Beach City right there?:

Strongarm commed in to Bumblebee; which came through the radio that the father and son listen into. The two looked out of Bee's windshield.

A large hill with a lighthouse grew closer and closer. A small town nestling behind it. The large ocean surrounded the city at 180° in front.

"Yep." Bumblebee answered. "That's it, alright."
