After the door closed behind them, Pearl rushed to Strongarm with a small smile. She walked across the water gracefully and placed her hands in her right servo.
"Heh, you really shouldn't rush in here!" Pearl said, chuckling. "You missed the platform back there!"
Strongarm turned around and saw that Pearl was right. There was a beautiful medium to dark blue tiled floor that surrounds the room. She blushed a glowing blue. She must have taken a too big of a step.
She walked towards the tile and made a mental note to stay on it when she got there. Pearl walked along side her, still taking hold of her servo. Strongarm stepped up on the tile and let go of Pearl's hand.
"I'm sorry," she said, shaking off the water at her pedes. "I must have been too excited."
"Oh, don't worry!" Pearl said, waving away her apology.
Strongarm looked down at her with an embarrassed look; but her optics shot open when she noticed-
"Uh, are you walking on water?" Strongarm said a bit concerned.
Pearl looked down at her feet, they were on the water as if it were the floor. She looked back at the cadet.
"Yes, I am," she said, turning around and walking away from Strongarm. "But don't worry."
She stopped in the middle of the water and fell completely in it, disappearing.
Strongarm stiffened as her optics grew wide with fear. The water wasn't that deep! There's no way a being her size could sink in the water too far. She rushed into the water where Pearl was. She bent down and began splashing the water away from the spot.
She stopped when she heard more splashing, but not from her. She looked up at the closest levitating bowl-like fountain in front of her and saw Pearl rise up from the water and did a small performance of ballet before her guest.
Strongarm got onto her servos and knees, closed her optics as she faced the water, and let out a sigh of relief. Pearl noticed this and stopped her dance. She looked concerned.
"I'm so sorry! Did I frighten you?!"
"Just a tad!" Strongarm laughed, she looked up at her with a smile.
"Okay, uh," she said, looking around her room for a moment. She turned back to the Cybertronian. "Do you trust me?" Pearl asked.
Strongarm looked up at her. Pearl had her hand out, but she was too far away to actually take it. She didn't answer her for a moment until she nodded up at her and replied, "yes."
Pearl nodded back at her and rose her hand up. Strongarm squealed when gravity took her through the water completely down. In a blur, she was right next to Pearl in the fountain. She shook off the water on her frame as Pearl got closer to her.
"You okay?" Pearl asked.
Strongarm nodded back at her and leaned back in the fountain; surprisingly, it wasn't like a bowl inside at all and was big enough to hold her laid out body.
She looked up at the ceiling and noticed the ribbon-like structures attached to a large yet pretty thin dark blue cylinder with star-like dots decorating the walls.
"This is such a beautiful room you have," she said.
Pearl, who sat right next to her, looked around; she smirked up as she blushed cyan.
"Thank you," she said, "Rose Quartz always told me it brought out my personality."
Strongarm turned her helm towards the Gem. There was curiosity in her optics.
