Rain's POV:

I stood there, clueless while Terzo broke down on the floor. As my breathing got quicker, I kept my cool and looked around just to find something I know wouldn't work. Meaning.. I had no clue what to do to help him emotionally or mentally.

I've always seen Terzo like a stubborn, ignorant little brother. The way he always throws tantrums when things don't go his way, he's run either to me or Cumulus.

I finally sighed with a thought. I kneeled down, nonchalantly scorching closer and giving him the most awkward hug I've ever given anyone. My arms wrapped around him, my hands attempting to smooth and calm him down, rubbing his back slowly as if he were a crying baby with a slow, comforting hushing noise.

I could feel the rising of his chest slow down as he calmed down slowly, finding him in a situation to actually start thinking. Oh dear Satan..

Terzo's POV:

I felt tense arms wrapped around me, my head spinning with everything muffled and blurry.

Announcement:
Oh my gosh- I AM SO SORRY for not publishing or updating, my non-medicated ADHD has been going off the rails and I have been simping for so many others, and just- oh my god. I cannot explain how sorry I am, I really hope you guys understand and I am really REALLY trying me best to actually finish this, which I have planned a lot for, again I am sorry. I have had so many thoughts of deleting this and making a new.. something. I have been thinking about how unprofessional and fast this has been, as like within these 4 chapters, already so much drama. I am nearly always insecure about how fast and impatient I am and how I don't really have any logic about anything. I am really trying my best to make this more and more mature now, I'm so sorry again. I'm sorry about everything, including the possibility everything will be worse in future chapters.

- I look around with a pixelated, blurry vision. Only seeing pixels of 2-7 colors, including black, green, white, red, and others I was too concerned to process. The black resembled Rain, basically a form of comfort ghoul of mine. I inhaled and exhaled more steadily as I sat, dumb-founded while Rain felt like the father. The dad that I never had. He was.. a few years older than me.

I sighed deeply before I was able to fix myself up and hug my 'father' back. I always thought of Rain as a dad, knowing how mine was always at work, fighting with my mom, or just on drugs. I'm still surprised how he passed his drug test for his high-paying job.

I whined lightly as my head snugged more towards Rain, finding him as a form of comfort. I felt safe around him, happy and relaxed.

I took a few deep breaths and slowly leaned back, showing him that I was getting back into reality.

"I- thank you, Rain. For everything, I can't thank you enough- I just.." I shakily stuttered out, my red, swollen eyes looking down at the carpet.

"It's okay, don't apologize... you're fine. You're safe."
Rain shushed, rubbing my back slowly and his chin rested lightly on my messy, sweaty hair.

"Go take a bath and ease yourself. Think about how you'll make it up to Y/N, eh?" Rain shook my shoulders, pulling away from the hug and giving my an assuring smile as I saw the relief wash off his face.. at least I could, despite the ghoul mask. The way he was talking made it clear he felt a wave of relief wash over him as soon as I picked myself up and was stable enough to at least speak or smile.

"Okay.." I sighed, returning the smile as he rose to his feet and helped me up, setting up the bath with a stoking vanilla scent.

I always had a mixed scent, vanilla and a burning pine. This sharp pine scent always covered up the sweet scent, giving an intimidating outlook.

Rain's POV:

I exhale deeply and shakily, leaning against the half-filled bubbled tub, waiting for it to fill. A lot of thing running through my mind all at once, but I'll cope with it.

I look around the bathroom just to check out what I could do whilst I wait for the tub to fill, bored out of my mind.

I start zoning out as I hear muffled footsteps of stiff boots and a ghoul's voice, although my vision blurs, I manage to catch a glimpse of some black boots with a Grucifix in sight.

I manage to actually pick me head up and spot Cumulus. I stood up and looked at her, my body language stating clearly how stressed I was.

I lowered my head and sight down to my Grucifix boots and sat down on the tub's walls, seeing her moving closer until they stopped and I felt two warm arms wrapped around me comfortingly.

I closed my eyes and nuzzled my head into her neck, as I was now lower than her height. I wrapped my arms around her as she hummed out a melody only the Ghost band members knew, as a form of comfort for family or relatives of nameless ghouls.

Cumulus' POV:

I awed at Rain as he let go, giving me a small smile while he looked slightly up at me, like a little child when they questioned if the parent was proud of them.

"I'm proud of you, dear.." I chuckled at him, my son.
I saw him light up and stand up with a huge smile, his inner-child showing.

"I'm growing up to be like you, comforting and making people happy." He smiled innocently at me as he skipped out, dismissing him to go back to his office.

"Oh jeez.." I sighed with a smile, thinking how much Rain's mood could change in a matter of seconds. "Oh, Terzo! Your bath's ready." I called out, stepping out of the restroom and leaving the door open for Papa, exiting the room to give him some privacy and time alone.

Wait, you don't know how much this means to me. I just can't believe this! I know I'm being a bit overdramatic about it, but I've been overthinking WAY too much and it's really been unhealthy for my ego. Writing this makes me feel like an attention seeker but I've been holding this in for quite some time. I just can't thank you enough for your support and I will continue to try my best, even though it's not enough or a lot. Again, thank you so much. <33
