Remnant's Saiyajin: Jaune Arc. [ONGOING]

Chapter 2: Life on Remnant II

In the present, Jaune tries to save an entire village. At the end of it all, he finds something disturbing. 

Jaune looked over the burning wooden village as Grimm ransacked everything in sight. Jaune immediately shoulder-slammed a Ursa to stop it from devouring a blacksmith. He helped the man up. "C'mon, up at and 'em!" Jaune told the older man as he helped him up. "Go to the exit, and hide. And try to help anyone you can." He told him as the elder nodded and ran away. Jaune immediately spun around to block the gigantic claw from The Beowolf about to hit him. He grabbed its paw and flipped it over his head. Jaune's eyes glistened blue before two beams blasted out of them, killing the Grimm. He dodged Ursa's bite before immediately kicking it away into a burning house. He heard the caw of a Nevermore trying to descend upon him. 

He fired a ki blast towards it causing it to explode. He quickly made haste as he grabbed a woman from being killed by an Ursa. He teleported to the blacksmith. "Stay your ass right over here. Take this." Jaune handed them a gun. "Emergencypurposesonlydon'taskwhereIgotthisgoodbye!" 

And for hours, Jaune found himself having more dangerous, unwanted guests.

He teleported and immediately kicked a Boarbatusk away from a woman being speared, he blasted it to dust before teleporting away with her. 

19:21

He grabbed a Creep by the legs and ripped it apart before grabbing the cat. He was just about to teleport away until. "MEOW!" The gray cat said to him, "Quiet down! I'm trying to save you-!" "meow!" Jaune swiveled his head to see the litter of 9 kittens. "and your entire litter." Jaune sighed.

21:57:

He beheaded a Nevermore, he quickly wretched the man out of its beak. The man yelled at the top of his lungs as he almost fell out of Jaune's arms with his panicked flailing and wailing. "Just don't look down my guy. Makes my job easier and ensures you live to see retirement." Jaune muttered as he made hard and sharp turns to avoid the rocks being hurled by Beringels.

23:15:

He blasted a volley of ki blasts as he grabbed a teen's shoulder to teleport away. "You don't have permission to touch me!" The girl yelled with red hair(dyed as Jaune could tell.) as she ran away. "I can save myself, creep!" She said as he ran away, in the opposite direction of safety. In the direct direction of danger. "Really? For real?!" Jaune yelled as he ripped a Deathstalker's stinger off and stabbed it right into its face before he got body slammed by an Alpha Beowolf and its lessers.

"KA-" Jaune chanted the chant that was so familiar to him. The Sphinx in front of him and took a low crouch. Its maw was beginning to open, and a fireball was starting to form. "ME-" A blue orb of swirling energy formed in his hands, and an orange one enlarged. "HA-" The ground cracked under their feet as orange and blue lights illuminated the night. "ME-" The blue light overtook Jaune, his voice echoing through the forest, The Sphinx finally finishing the fireball. "HHHHAAAA-."  

"Help me!" The same girl shrieked from before bolted towards him, grabbing his arm, unintentionally breaking his focus, unintentionally, dissolving the energy blast. Leaving both of them undefended to The Sphinx's fire blast. "Goddammit, woman!" Jaune screamed as a giant fireball hurled towards them. And in the nick of time, Jaune managed to Instant Transmission the both of them out of the blast. "Hold on!" Jaune told her as they appeared 10 feet above the Sphinx. The girl screamed as she clung to Jaune as the latter used his free arm to form a ki sphere. "BIG BANG ATTACK!" Jaune screamed as the blue ki blast plummeted to the caught off Sphinx. A small explosion ensued as Jaune and the girl teleported away.

They appeared to the crowd of villagers. Jaune let go of the teen as his eyes scanned the villagers. "Okay that's the last one I found, is there anybody else?! Family? Friends? Not pets, I've had it saving them ever since the Parrot and its nest!" Jaune screamed as he side-eyed the old lady with the birds. A few minutes passed as the villagers inspected themselves, they shook their heads no. "Finally! Everyone hold hands, I'm teleporting all of us outta here!" Jaune fired a blue ki blast into the sky, and for a few minutes, nothing happened, suddenly. 

*FWOOOSH!!!*

In the blink of a second, dozens of men and women appeared in a large room with cabinets of canned food and bottled water. Jaune sighed as he slicked his hair back. "Okay, one last time, is that, EVERYONE?" Jaune asked them all, he got shakes of heads and no. 'No way this the result of a dude having a bad day! An army of Grimm caused by some dude getting fired?! There's gotta be another reason!' 

Jaune teleported to the mother and daughter from before. "Mr. Hunter, you're back!" The daughter said as she ran towards him. "You bet I am!" Jaune said as she ruffled her hair. "Say, I found some of your friends from school, there downstairs, you should go check up on them," Jaune told her as the girl nodded her head and left him and the mother. 

"Be honest with me here," Jaune said to the mother, taking a seat next to her. "Your husband wasn't just the reason for the Grimm horde, was it?" Jaune asked her, causing the woman to shrink in her seat. "Have you ever heard of the fairy tale called The Wishing Dragon?" She asked Jaune.

Heard it? He'd seen it in the flesh. Although, he'd never actually heard of the actual tal0e.

"No, but I've heard of it," Jaune told her. She sighed as she explained.

"Long ago, before the Age of Huntsman, there were 7 Hunters. They were the only force that could defend Vale against Grimm."

"They were renowned for their strength, bravery, and humility. The 4th Hunter, The Monk, had heard of a ram faunus who'd bring an army of warriors to the door of villages and kingdoms. They'd lay waste to a small part of it, trying to draw out their strongest, and when they appeared, they'd fight. And if the ram faunus and his army won, they'd kill all of the inhabitants."

"So the Monk warned the rest of the fighters, and they prepared for war."

"The ram faunus appeared and called for the heroes, and so they did appear. They had gotten the jump on the faunus, yet, even against 7 highly skilled warriors, he'd almost secured victory. But, the Wizard pulled off a drastic plan. He made a barrier of light and detonated himself with his Magic. Killing the faunus, herself, and her comrades. Whilst destroying the kingdom."

"The civilians had found their corpses and they weeped. The 7 Hunters had died next to each other. And so their blood had pooled together. And suddenly, the bright sunny day had darkened. And so from their blood, The Wishing Dragon was summoned, and asked what their wish was. They'd wish for their kingdom to be restored. And in front of their very eyes, There kingdom was restored."

"Where the 7 Hunters laid, a shrine was built. And on this very day, the elders would pray inside of it." The woman finished her tale. "They say they hear the cries of war of the 7 Hunters from the shrie on this day. The concerning thing is, the Grimm always seem to come from the direction of the shrine."

Jaune had a complentative look in his eyes. "Is there a reason why the Grimm do that?"

"We don't know. But if you asked me, I'd say that something horrible was happening in there."

Jaune nodded as he stood up, "I'll go check it out, thanks for the heads up." Jaune told her before he teleported away.
