Chapter 3-Bonding Time

I took a quick shower as I probably smelled from all the practice we had today. I then walked into my closet , grabbed a white lace short dress and a pair of white stilettos. I let the towel that was wrapped around my body to fall to the floor.

I put on some black panties and a red bra. Yeah , I'm just wierd like that. I never actually match , It's more fun when I mix stuff.

I slipped in my dress and then my stilettos , I walked over to the mirror and started applying my makeup. I put my long blonde hair in a side braid before walking out of my room and heading downstairs.

I walked downstairs to find dad and Nanna already waiting for me by the door. We headed out of the house and towards the car that was waiting for us just infront of the door. Mason (dad's driver) was driving us to wherever we were having dinner today. I also had my own driver , but I always preferred driving myself.

It took us about twenty minutes to get to a fancy looking restaurant. And to say that the drive was awkward would most probably be an understatement. We walked into the restaurant and a women quickly guided us towards our table after that dad said that we had a reservation under the name Galiano.

Pattie ,Jeremy and Justin were already sitting on the table. I just groaned under my breath ,a thing that only Nanna seemed to notice. They seemed to be in a heated conversation and Justin looked pissed beyond belief.

My dad cleared his throat when we approached them making them to imidiatelly stop talking. Their heads snapped towards us and they imidiatelly stood up when they noticed that it was us (of course , Justin stayed slouched in his chair).

Jeremy glared at him but ,he just ignored him.

"Sorry for being late. My princess over here takes forever to get ready" dad said throwing an arm over my shoulders.

"No doubt" Justin mumbled under his breath thinking that no one heard him. But , I did , I just glared at him which he returned with a smirk that made me roll my eyes.

"That's because I know how to put an outfit together , daddy" I said glaring at him jokingly.

"That's right ,I've always had a bad taste in fashion. Good thing that I have Maddie here to help my , like she likes to call ,'a fashion disaster'" he said using air quotations.

"And you're welcome" I said placing a hand on his shoulder giving him a teasing smile.

They laughed before we all sat down. We all ordered our food and were now just sitting awkwardly. Okay ,me and Justin were the only ones sitting awkwardly. They were all immersed in conversations amongst themselves.

"Did you see the wedding dress me and Maddie bought today? " Pattie suddenly asked dad enthusiastically.

"No , but I'm sure it's gorgeous as Maddie chose it. I mean she's a fashionista and loves fashion probably more than me" dad said looking at me with a smile.

"Don't get jealous now , daddy" I said sternly joking of course.

"I forgot that you've got your humor from your mother" he imidiatelly shut his mouth and widened his eyes when he realised what he's just said.

I felt my heart ache at the mention of her ,my eyes stung but I refused to cry. Awkwardness suddenly fell on us. So , I decided to break it.

"Thank god that I didn't get my humor from you ,daddy. You're horrible at telling jokes" I said shaking my head slightly.

They all laughed (except for Justin who looked like he was ready to murder someone). I forced a laugh and everyone seemed to buy it ,of course everyone but Nanna.
