Okay, I've been getting this alot, people's been asking what's Maddie's and Justin's past.
I don't know if I mentioned it right in the chapters and I'm sorry if I didn't and for the confusion.
So, the thing is that Maddie feels like she's been betrayed by people who she loved so much, she then started to feel that she shouldn't be trusting anyone. She's built a wall around her, that no one has yet been able to break down or get through.
She feels that all guys are the same, she thinks that Justin is just another Brook and that's why she's pushing him away and doesn't want to even give him a chance.
Kind of a trust issue there.
And lets not forget that she's always trying to act all strong, but she truly isn't. And the only reason she's been acting like a diva, is because she thinks that this way she's protecting herself from getting hurt.
She's also been forced into marriage, I don't think you'd like to be forced into marriage, or anything for that matter. Besides, she's been forced by the one person that never forced her into anything and you'll later on know why he forced her in the first place.
Justin is just mad at her because he thinks that she's the reason why he's stuck in this marriage and he thinks that it's all her fault for Selena to break up with him, which you'll know later on why Selena left him in the first place.
And there is a little past between the both of them, but they themselves don't even remember...yet. I promise that you'll know it, I just planned the plot and I know when they're gonna remember. I can't say that it's gonna be soon, but I can say that you'll know.
