Beomgyu's auntie was focusing on the road driving her car. It was a silent trip and the only thing you could hear was the song playing on the radio. He wanted to have a small conversation with his auntie but he's too shy to speak first, he can't say it but he keeps glancing at her.

“Do you need anything?” Her auntie asked and faced him. Finally, she talked to him because he didn't know where to start the conversation.

“Nothing really,” He replied. “I just wanna ask something” He looked at her and focused back on the road. Oh shit! I don't know what to ask!. Beomgyu thought and started to think about a question since he doesn't really have a question to ask.

“Sure, go ahead, what is it?”

A question suddenly popped up in his mind. “It's about my mom. Does she know I'm living in a huge penthouse?” Beomgyu asked and stared outside the window of the car.

Soo Rim's lips formed into a line as Beomgyu started to ask the question. She took a deep breath and replied. “No. I didn't tell your mother, I was worried about it if she knew someone bought a house for you. She'll probably know who it was and for sure, she'll take you away” She replied with a low toned voice.

Fear and worries were visible in her voice, she's afraid that Beomgyu's mother would take him away. Soo Rim hasn't confessed to her sister yet about her getting his Ex-husband number to update on what's happening to his son.

“Your mother hates your father so much to the point that she took revenge on him by hurting you,” She stated.

Beomgyu looked at his aunt who looked sad, he looked down on his lap and recalled all his memories of his mother hurting him.

“Can't you do it better!?” His mother yelled at him while slapping him.

His grades were high but for his mother, it wasn't. He got some perfect grades on his exams but her mother never looked forward to it. He got good grades in Math but her mother didn't care about it.

Beomgyu thought to himself that he's so dumb and stupid, even the easiest exam he takes it ends up he gets one-to-three mistakes. Beomgyu was suffering from abuse so many times to the point that he couldn't take it anymore.

At night, he went to the kitchen and got a knife. He looked at it lifeless and cut his wrist, he couldn't feel pain anymore. He cut and he cut until all blood drained from his arm making him fall to the ground. It was not finished yet, he looked again with a bloody knife and stabbed himself. He started to get unconscious then he passed out.

Beomgyu didn't know a tear streamed down to his cheek. He was busy recalling all those hurtful and dark memories when someone tapped him.

“Earth to Beomgyu!” She yelled, making him look at her.

“What happened?” He asked.

“You were crying and we are home,” She replied. “Is everything alright?” she asked in concern.

He nodded. “Yes, my thoughts just ate me up sorry” he apologized and went out to the car.

He went inside his house and was surprised by luxury clothes, shoes, watches, jewellery, and many more. His jaw dropped when he asked. “Is this mine?”

His Aunt nodded and smiled. “Yes, it's yours”

There are many clothes that cost around millions of won, shoes that run around hundred thousands won, branded watches, and jewellery made out of gold, silver and diamond.

He just saw this on the internet before but now he has it, he was feeling thankful but at the same time he feels like this is too much.

“Are you sure? Because this is too much for me” he asked again making sure that she's not lying.

Her Aunt chuckled as he asked again, he really doesn't believe what his Aunt said. “Of course, it's all men's thing. Maybe you find something there that you could use when you found a girlfriend” She replied, teasing Beomgyu.

Beomgyu's face turned red as he heard what his Aunt said. She laughed about Beomgyu's reaction. Beomgyu avoided her and picked up the clothes, shoes, jewelleries, and watch, to his room. His Aunt also helped him carry the bags then went to his room to help him arrange and fix his clothes.

Beomgyu smiled at his Aunt's kindness, no one helped him before. This is the first time he felt wonderful when his aunt helped him. I hope that she's my mother instead.
