𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐂𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐈𝐍

your a mechanic on the death star and your order by sexy darth Vader to fix the Gunns on fighter jets and every now and then he likes to check up on you.

it was mid day on the Death Star, even though we were in space and there was no sun light, I had been working since 5am to fix these jets for darth Vader, I work alone as there's no more mechanics as to them getting fired- more like killed for not taking orders properly. as I worked alone it took me a lot longer to complete thing fixing one fighter took me two hours and I still has 88 left. considering I had managed to work quick enough to finish 12 fighters by 1pm I think im doing well so I stopped for lunch break. I had no time to run and get lunch so a droid Brough it to me. I sat on the floor with my legs crossed eating my lunch when my bb droid rolled in.

"hey bb-2 can you put some music on and play some cards with me?"

I watched as the droid put in a mix tape of songs and started playing of a speaker I had installed in him and rolled over to me happy beeps, he pulled out a pack of cards from a little compartment and we started playing.

"OI! thats not fair bb-2 your cheating I swear! you have a secret pack of cards in a compartment somewhere" I state in annoyance, he made lots of frantic beeping noises and spun around clearly annoyed by my remark.

"I am not a sore looser!! your cheating I know it"

im still convinced he cheats every time I say to myself as I throw away the rest of my lunch and continued on the next fighter, I laid back on a rolling table that allows me to get underneath the ship to fix it better and started singing along to the music bb-2 was playing.

the new mechanic seemed very interesting to me, she was pretty to. her station was just a few doors down from my quarters and I could always hear her thoughts, she has quite a curious mind. and interesting music taste it must be from her planet because I haven't herd it before. every now and then I couldn't help myself but check in on her, or watch her work last time I checked up on her she was kicking a ball against the wall and playing with it when talking to her droid. she wasn't scared of me either which was interesting to me, all my last mechanics hated me. today was one of those days were I couldn't help myself and to go and see her. I looked threw the long glass window to see her sitting on the floor eating lunch with her droid why doesn't she eat with the crew I thought to myself. I walked threw the open door way and stood agains the door frame and sat and watched her, taking a look at the first 12 fighters she had finished I could tell she done an amazing job however she must have been up so early my attention fell back on her when I herd her shout "OI thats not fair bb-2 your cheating I swear! you have a secret pack of cards in a compartment somewhere" I tired not to smile but she was rather funny, she then got up and started singing to her droid while doing some work  I have to say she's pretty good at singing thats why I like to listen in on her thoughts because she's always singing, she clearly didn't notice my prescience which is surprising as I had been standing here for about 20 minutes so I thought now would be a good time to scare her.

I continued to sing before finishing up my work from under the ship and slid out from under it I jumped at the the sight of lord Vader who snuck up on me "sorry sir I didn't see you, bb-2 turn that off" I got up and walked over to the table and placed a tool down "no need I was just checking in, how close are u to finishing" Vader looked at me with the slightest smile which I was not expecting "maybe another week if im lucky maybe 6 days" I looked back at him with a smile however he kept his hooded face looking away from me staring at my work "get it done as quick as possible" his attitude had changed to a serious tone now before he walked away have I done something wrong with one of the ships? I thought to myself looking at the fighters, Vader stopped at the open doorway before turning to me. "you've done nothing wrong, it just needs done quickly" he answered my eyes met his beautiful blues for only a moment before he turned and left. can he read minds? I thought again.
