Smith and John made their way through the forest, following the trail they believed would lead them to the mad scientist's lair.

As they approached a clearing, they saw what appeared to be a small hut. But as they drew closer, they realized it was a trap.

The door to the hut suddenly swung open, and out poured a cloud of smoke that engulfed them both. When the smoke cleared, they found themselves in a small, dimly lit room.

A voice boomed from the shadows. "Welcome, my guests. I have been expecting you."

The mad scientist emerged from the shadows, grinning wickedly.

"You've fallen right into my trap," he said, his eyes gleaming with madness. "Now, I shall experiment on you both, and you will become my loyal minions."

Smith and John tried to fight back, but they were quickly subdued by the mad scientist's minions.

As the mad scientist prepared to inject them with his serum, a blinding light filled the room. The Lightbulb God had arrived.

"Release my children!" the Lightbulb God thundered, his voice shaking the walls.

The mad scientist cowered, his minions trembling beside him.

"I-I'm sorry, I didn't realize they were your children," the mad scientist stammered.

The Lightbulb God glared at him. "Your madness has gone too far, scientist. You must stop these experiments at once, or suffer the consequences."

The mad scientist nodded, fear etched on his face.

As the Lightbulb God disappeared, Smith and John breathed a sigh of relief. They knew they had narrowly escaped a terrible fate.

"We have to be more careful," John said, his voice shaking slightly.

Smith nodded. "Agreed. We can't let our guard down for a moment."
