Long before Smith and John's adventures began, there existed a powerful being known as the Lightbulb God. The origins of this entity are shrouded in mystery, but legends say that it was born from the very essence of light itself.
The Lightbulb God was said to have the power to control and manipulate light, using it for both creation and destruction. Its presence was felt all across the universe, and its name was whispered in awe by countless civilizations.
But as powerful as the Lightbulb God was, it was not invincible. For every force of light, there existed a corresponding force of darkness. And it was in one of these battles against the darkness that the Lightbulb God met its demise.
It was said that the darkness was led by a powerful entity known as the Shadow King. This being was the embodiment of all that was dark and evil in the universe, and it sought to snuff out the light of the Lightbulb God.
The two forces clashed in a titanic battle that shook the very foundations of reality. For a time, it seemed that the Lightbulb God would emerge victorious, but the Shadow King had one last trick up its sleeve.
With a final burst of dark energy, the Shadow King unleashed a blast that engulfed the Lightbulb God, consuming it in a blaze of black fire. And so, the Lightbulb God was destroyed, leaving behind only a faint glimmer of its former power.
But even in death, the Lightbulb God's legacy lived on. Its name became a symbol of hope and strength, and those who dared to stand up against the forces of darkness often invoked its name.
And so it was that, many years later, Smith and John found themselves in possession of a strange and powerful artifact - a lightbulb that seemed to glow with an otherworldly energy. Little did they know that this artifact was a remnant of the legendary Lightbulb God, and that they would soon be called upon to use its power to fight against the darkness once again.
