So we decided to finally tell them something else.
"So ladies we have something to tell you." I said slowly
"YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED!" Meg shouted across the table
Danny laughed a loud belly laugh
"No , Meg would you fucking chillax, why is that always your first assumption?"
She shrugged her shoulders at my question
"Well bitch what is it we are waiting." Cait said almost irritated
Danny spoke up " well we are going on tour again starting January first"
The girls' jaws dropped because this was new information to them
"But" I started to finish Daniel's thought " the boys asked me to go with them to continue being their chef while they are on tour." I said nervous to hear their reactions
All the girls started screaming and cheering and came to give me hugs when Meg came to the realization first
"Wait ,that means you are going to be gone for like months, Fuck you" she looked at me about ready to cry
She then walked over to Sam "yeah and fuck you too" she said as one singular tear fell from her eye.She was trying to be strong but you could tell she was having a hard time.
The other two girls then embraced me again this time both a little upset .
"We will miss you a lot but we are so excited for you." Cait said before going back to Jake and grabbing his hand she was quite upset just as the other two were because not only was I leaving but so were their boyfriends.
"Yeah go see the world gorgeous." Kk said looking in my eyes as she was starting to tear up.
We then all sat back around the table and it was like their sadness fell away when they started asking us a plethora of questions.
As the night went on we all had talked about only the tour and then the boys started sharing funny stories from past tours.We were all laughing so hard we were crying at some of their stories. Before we knew it 2 am rolled around and we were all slumped so we headed to bed.
Meg and Sam in his room, Josh and Kk in what was my room, Me and Danny in our room and Jake and Cait in the music room.
When I woke up it was around 7 and Danny wasn't in bed. So I walked down stairs to find that no one else was up. I headed out to the front porch and there he was. His messy brown locks in a perfect top knot, his long pajama pants loosely laying over his legs and his sculpted arms pouring me a cup of coffee.
" good morning sunshine" he smiled smiled sweetly
"Good morning handsome." I said grabbing my coffee cup from his out stretched hand
It had been a while since we had our usual quiet morning coffee,and I definitely missed it. He took my hand in his and we just sat in each other's company and watched the sun finish rising and listening to the birds chirp.
About 30 minutes later we heard someone in the house moving around until Jake almost broke the front door trying to get it open.
"Ugh there's the coffee.. Jesus do you have to hog it all." He yelled and snatched the pot off of the table
" I am sorry your highness" I snapped back and he gave me a scowl
I smiled really big to annoy him even more and he slammed the door. Danny and I both started giggling and headed inside to join the others. I started on breakfast for all of us and went and took a shower while it was in the oven.
I was almost done washing my hair when I heard the bathroom door open, it was Danny.
His beautiful dark eyes softened when they scanned my body through the glass door. He gave me a smile and a wink before he turned around to brush his teeth.
I blushed hard... I mean it wasn't the first time he had seen me completely undressed, but it still gave me butterflies when he looked at me like I was the most beautiful thing on the entire planet.
Once Daniel finished brushing his teeth he washed his face and started taking his hair out of his top knot. I then turned off the shower and he turned around to hand me my towel. I wrapped the towel around my chest and stepped out of the shower.
I stepped over to the bathroom counter and began to wash my face when Daniel walked up behind me placing his arms around my waist. I leaned back into his chest and let my body weight shift to him. I put my head against his upper rib cage
"I love you" I said relaxed
"I love you too beautiful" he kissed my forehead
And we swayed back in forth for a few minutes me still in his arms until I gave him a kiss and walked into the room to get dressed.
Once I was ready Danny grabbed my hand and we walked downstairs. The rest of the group was talking about something that I couldn't quite make out until we got into the living room.
They were talking about thanksgiving next week. It was in that moment that I realized I had been so caught up in working on other events outside of the boys that I completely forgot that Thanksgiving was next week and we were hosting not only the boys and my 3 roommates , but also their parents.
The whole kiszka/Wagner clan was going to be in our house,and I had to cook for 14 people.
"So chef what's on the menu for next week" Sam asked
I sat their frozen on the couch before gulping
"Um you know just the essentials, turkey and of course fish for you Sam, mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, dressing, pull apart rolls, baked Mac and cheese,and of course for dessert a pumpkin roll and apple pie." I said almost in one breath.
"Wow that all sounds fantastic." Jake said with a smile
"Yeah can't wait mamas" Josh said
I took a deep breath
The girls stayed around for a little while and we all ate the breakfast I made. They then packed up and left again and the twins left shortly after that.
I started to get overwhelmed with the whole thanksgiving situation and walked back upstairs straight into Danny's room. He followed a few minutes later.
"Hey baby girl are you ok?" He asked sitting on the bed next to me.
"Um yeah,but don't be mad at what I am about to tell you."
"Awe there is nothing that could make me that mad at you I just want to make sure you were ok."
"Ok so I kinda got really wrapped up in my side work that I almost completely forgot about next week and now I feel really bad and am kinda overwhelmed because I pulled that entire menu out of my ass." I said upset with myself
"Hey it's ok baby, it happens but don't worry I am sure that whatever you make will be fantastic and that everyone will love it." He hugged me
"Thanks Danny"
