Chapter 24: Practice makes perfect

Charlotte POV

Tomorrow is finally the filming day for the music video I will be participating. This morning P'Tao sends me the run through for it and I see that I have a scene where I need to 'kiss' the singer. They said there were two possibilities, 1) I would need to kiss her or 2) if the camera angles can make it look like we're kissing then we don't have to kiss. 

My first time acting as a couple and in a music video, I was a little doubtful, wondering if I would be able to do a good job. Reading the script, immediately I thought about P'Fa. Although this is for work and we aren't dating yet, but I know this could make P'Fa extremely jealous. I thought long and hard how I should tell her since I don't want her to find out only after the shoot or when the music video gets released. 

(Char) P'Fa are you busy? <

(Char) Can we meet up tonight? <

> (Fa) I'm doing a photoshoot then I have a live to do 

> (Fa) But I'm free by 8, I can come over 

Currently 7pm, I was now home and waiting for P'Fa. I thought about buying food on the way home but traffic was so terrible I couldn't find a place to park. Stuck with having to cook knowing P'Fa would probably be hungry, with limited skill I managed to whip up some mixed noodles with fried pork chops. She managed to arrive before 8 and was surprised that I actually cooked.

Fa: You cooked? Really? You made all of this?

Char: Why is it so surprising! It might not taste the best, but should be edible

Fa: (staring at the food) 

Char: It's not terrible, I swear

Fa: No, no. I know. Your food looks great, I'm... I'm touched 

Char: (relieved smile) Hurry up and eat! You must be hungry

Fa: (takes a bite) 

Char: (widened eye) So~? How is it?

Fa: (smiles at Char then caresses her head) Best dinner I've had recently

Seeing P'Fa enjoying the dinner I made her made me so proud for being able to do something for her. Mentioned in several interviews, I remember P'Fa fantasized about having someone to come home to, take care of her, and give her encouragement. Although this is not quite exactly the same, but after a long day of filming I hope she's enjoying this. 

(moving to the couch after eating)

Fa: So~ why did you want to see me? Did you miss me? (smirk)

Char:  (shy smile) I always miss you but also there is something I need to tell you

Fa: (Worried) Are you okay?

Char: So the music video I'm filming tomorrow... 

Fa: Yes?
