Chapter 53- Fast Forward

Engfa POV

For the months onward after our USA tour, it was just more and more schedules to come. Char and I both had less time to see each other as we were filming focusing on our actress schedules. Especially going to workshops and acting lessons inbetween filming, lives, and other schedules we could barely even have a full night's sleep. 

It is tough when both of us are trying to build our career. There are a lot of external factors but internally, we were struggling to give each other the attention that we needed to give. Slowly, misunderstandings arise and  one of us always seems to get hurt in the midst of our busy lives. 

We also were not people to act like everything is fine in front of others as we like to live by being honest to ourselves. Therefore, a lot of the times we fought or at a low in our relationship, our fans could tell our dynamic was off. But on the days we were feeling great, it was evident too. 

We celebrated each other, spent time with our family and friends, and most importantly we slowly worked out new arrangements to make sure our relationship was healthy and working for the both of us. We started using a couples' app which really helped us, the app only belonged to the both of us and we could see snip bits of each other's days. So even on busy days, I could upload a photo of where I was and doing for her to see. It was like a small journal that belonged just to us.

I was also starting to get sick a lot trying to juggle everything. I know I needed to take a break since it felt like everything was being thrown at me all at once but they were all prior promises and schedules I had to attend. During this period, Charlotte did her best behind the scenes. If she wasn't there physically taking care of me whenever she could, she would' ve made sure I would come home to food and everything I possibly needed set out for me. 

Charlotte got to travel to England at the end of the year with her dad. It was the longest since being with Charlotte that I have been apart from her. Longest time we were apart before we were girlfriends was when I was in Indo for Miss Grand International and even then it was a really tough time. She called me daily and sent me videos of her and Dad, although we were apart but seeing her finally catch a breath made me warm to my heart.

Fast forward to February, I was feeling a lot better mentally and physically. Our relationship was still around the same but we were both a little worn out with how busy life was.  it was once again time to celebrate my birthday. This year it was announced that our next USA tour was happening to our fans at my birthday as we have missed our fans immensely and could not wait to go back. The night after my birthday celebration, it was already 3 am by the time we got home. Charlotte secretly joining me again after pretending to go home helped me bring everything back to my apartment. The moment we got back to my apartment, I could see that the living room was all decorated. 

Char: Surprise~~~ *bag hugs Fa* 

Fa: When did you have time for all this? 

Char: I came this morning after you left, do you like it? 

Fa: I love it! Thank you baby 

Char: I know it's nothing extravagent but-

Fa: No. I love it *turns around to kiss Char*

Char: Come on, open your present

We walked over to the living room table and surrounded by what looks like 100 roses was a gift. I slowly took the box out of the bag and opened it. They were two rings. Charlotte took one of the rings out and placed it on my finger.
