Jack thinks for a moment and takes a deep breath.
Jack: ok but it's just for today, don't think i'll want to see her again...
Simon: no problem
Something about this whole situation bothered Jack, Simon was calm at all times, he didn't react to any of Jack's provocations, and for some reason it bothered him.
Simon takes his tail off of Jack and walks to the window and jumps out and lands with no problems, Jack goes to the Window and just watches this.
Simon: Come on Jackson, Venganza don't like to wait
He chuckles teasingly, Jack takes a deep breath and leans against the window, he could have just walked down the stairs and out the door, but for some reason he was confident that nothing would happen, he instinctively went to the window and climbed in, he took a deep breath and jumped.
While he was in the air he felt a very good feeling, the icy night wind hitting his fur, was something comforting, unfortunately the feeling is short-lived as Jack manages to land without problems and without getting hurt.
Simon: Nice jump rookie, now let's go
Jack: O-okay...
Jack is a little surprised by what happened, he has fallen out of the window several times and always broke a bone, but this time just nothing happened, he pulls himself together and starts to follow Simon.
They entered the forest where the moonlight barely illuminated, both could see in the dark and so it wasn't a problem, Jack was the whole time looking intently at Simon.
Jack: So... why did you call me a rookie back there?
He says shyly trying to start a conversation.
Simon: you were transformed a short time ago, that is, you are still a beginner, you have no idea what you can do, that's why you are a rookie
Jack: makes sense... what do you mean by "you have no idea what you can do?"
Simon smiles broadly and chuckles.
Simon: you will understand Jackson...
Jack is a little confused by what this means and wonders what he and Venganza are up to, after a few minutes of walking in silence they arrive in an open area looking like a clearing.
Simon: we arrived...
Jack walks a little further forward looking around.
Jack: and where is she?
He looks at Simon who looks back and he realizes that Simon wasn't looking at him but at something behind him, at that moment Jack's body stops, he felt a strong threatening and imposing aura coming from behind, his heart races and his body fills with fear, he turns slowly and the imposing figure of Venganza sitting on the branch of a tree watching him with her red eyes, even with night vision it was difficult to distinguish her from the rest of the darkness, the most visible thing was her glowing eyes.
Jack: V-venganza...
Jack sees a black blur moving and when I realized it was in front of him staring at him, Jack shakes a little and gets extremely nervous, he winces when one of her claws touches his chin and makes him look into her eyes.
Venganza: so it's true... you really are a vampire
She had a curious look and tone..
Venganza: when Simon said you were a vampire I didn't believe it, after all I don't turn someone unless they are useful to me...
