After everything that happened in the forest Jack falls into his bed and tries to sleep, Vampires don't need to sleep but he liked to sleep.

he closes his eyes and yawns and finally falls into a long deep sleep...

...

Jack yawns and starts to wake up, opening his eyes he looks around and sees himself in a completely black place like an endless void, the Jackal panics and very scared he gets up and looks everywhere looking for any sign of someone, he tries to remember how he got there but nothing came to his mind, he takes a deep breath and starts walking through this void.

Jack keeps walking, the only sound he hears are his footsteps, he walks for minutes, hours, days, years... he doesn't know how much time has passed, but something catches his attention, a wet sound could be heard, as if someone had stepped in a puddle, he looks around looking for the source of the sound and his fear grows with the possibility that he is not alone, he keeps walking and the sound continues until he finally realizes that it was his footsteps that originated the sound, upon realizing this he feels his feet getting wet and when he looks down, he sees himself stepping into a huge ocean of red liquid, the smell rises in his nostrils and he recognizes the smell of blood, it was a huge sea of blood.

he gets scared and falls to the ground, for some reason he doesn't get dirty even though he makes a loud Splash noise when he falls to the ground, he keeps looking at this red sea feeling attracted by it, he then sticks his hand in the red liquid and it crosses and sinks into the huge sea, Jack and caught by surprise by something pulling his hand and trying to pull him into the ocean of blood, he tries to fight but it's no use, streams of blood come out and grapple Jack and he is pulled into the sea of blood.

he closed his eyes as he drowned in the blood, but then despair gave way to comfort, it was comforting to be surrounded by the red liquid, slowly his body thirsts and he relaxes, still with his eyes closed he realizes he could breathe again and when he opens his eyes he sees himself standing on a stone floor.

he looks around and realizes that he seemed to be in some kind of dark cave, the damp weather and the cold wind were notorious, after walking for a while he feels a drop fall on his head, he reflexively looks up and is startled by what he sees, the ceiling of the cave was mirrored with the floor and then he sees a copy of himself right on top of him, but the copy had the characteristics of a vampire including the crimson wings, the copy looks at him with a piercing look and chuckles, desperate Jack starts running without looking up even though he knows the copy was following his movements, he runs until he reaches a very dark area of the cave, but even so he keeps running, during the dark path he feels something wetting him but he doesn't care and keeps running, he finally sees some light and leaves the dark and wet area, and then he lets out a scream that echoes through the cave, he was covered in blood, what was wetting him were waterfalls of blood, despair overwhelms him as he desperately tries to get the blood out of his brown fur, his panic interrupted by a noise he recognizes instantly, there were several bats screeching, he thinks of running away before the winged creatures notice him but then he sees that the bats were all around him, there were thousands covering the ground, they were in a position that didn't make sense, usually they were upside down on the ceiling but here they were standing on the floor, Jack's reasoning is broken when the blood in his body drips upwards breaking gravity, and when he looks up he sees that he was now on the ceiling, and his copy was on the floor but now the copy was Jack before the transformation looking at him with a look of fear.

Jack finally realizes, he feels his fangs in his mouth he looks down at his hands and the blood is gone and his fur has faded, on his back he feels his wings gently flexing, the panic and fear disappear giving way to comfort, the bats around making an unbearable sound but for Jack it was something comforting, he sits and listens to the beautiful melody that the bats uttered, the sound is engraved in Jack's mind, he didn't understand them but he understood them, they wanted to comfort him, make him feel at home, and it was even working, he sits and closes his eyes listening to them talking to him and then he lays down feeling very comfortable, it was strange, being surrounded by these beings was so comforting, he never felt this close to his friends or family, the only person who provided him with something similar was Cameron but still that didn't compare to that.

and then a drop falls making him open his eyes, he was again in the ocean of blood, but this time he knew what to do, he spreads his wings and dives into the sea of blood, after a few seconds of swimming he emerges in a black ocean with the sky in scarlet red, he gets a little breathless and looks around and then he sees the only thing that stood out in the environment, a small island of grass with a huge four-leaf clover that looked like a tree, he watches the small island and then he hears a bat noise and he sees a red bat with black eyes coming towards him, he isn't startled when the little creature lands on his shoulder, he gently strokes the bat and the bat rubs against his cheek causing Jack to chuckle, he then starts to swim towards this island and as he approached the voices of his friends and family echoed, asking him to retreat, normally he would have listened but the bat comforted him and gave him the confidence to face it.

reaching the island he comes out of the black ocean, he stands up and faces the huge four leaf clover and realizes that the voices were emanating from him, Jack takes the bat in his hands and caresses it and throws it into the air, the bat begins to fly and lands on top of the clover and when it touches the clover the green is consumed by the red, the voices stop and give way to new thoughts, new goals, new desires, your friends and family didn't matter, they were traitors, he could only trust those who welcomed and accepted him, the last thing Jack hears is a squeal of joy from the bat before it lands on its back in the black ocean and its vision completely blacks out.

...

Jack opens his eyes panting and sweating a little, looking around he sees his room and realizes he had slept, the alarm clock rings and Jack quickly turns it off, he sits on the bed and reflects on his dream, would that be the freedom venganza promised? the comfort he so sought?

he checks the time and realizes it was time to go to school, he looks in the mirror and sees that his fur was more faded than before, the whites of his eyes were now a red like wine and his pupils it was a bright red, he doesn't find the change strange and even likes it a little, he has his backpack and was about to go down the stairs when he stops and looks at the window, almost instinctively he goes to her and without hesitation he makes a huge jump and lands without problems, his insecurity was gone and he liked it, he didn't care if anyone saw him or not, he was like that now and he didn't need to hide it anymore, he had finally woken up.
