3RD PERSON

"What happened?" Aurielle crouched down next to Mclowell. He raised his head and suddenly she was crushed with a very tight hug. The two tumbled down on the floor but he ignored it as he was still holding on to his girlfriend as if it's the only thing keeping him alive.

"I'm here, It's alright" Aurielle whispered softly. The only thing that could be heard next was their breathing along with the occasional sound of the wind howling.

After a while, Mclowell pulled back and stared at her. The angel that has fallen right to his arms. The perfect to his imperfection, the love to his hatred, the light to his darkness. The beauty of the world that he has forgotten.

And yet, it's right in front of him.

And he knows now, that he's gambled too far.

He's given too much of what he planned,

he knows now,

he cannot lose her.

"What is it?" Aurielle said bring him back to reality. She was looking at him, worriedly. "Is there something wrong with my face?" she asked, nervously making him chuckle. "No, it's perfect" Mclowell said as his hands cuped her cheeks. The said cheeks turned red but Aurielle refused to tore her gaze away from him.

"Mom said I don't deserve you" he said, bluntly. Aurielle stared at him, "What?"

Aurielle has met his mother a few days ago at the mall. The girl received a call saying that due to some problems, she has to pick up her order from the nearest shop and the nearest shop being at the SM mall. As she was making her way to the shop, she suddenly bumped into a fancy-looking lady who as it happens was Mclowell's mother.

Then Mclowell arrived and called her by her name so they had no choice but to tell his mother the truth. Mrs. Salvador was surprisingly happy when she heard the news that her son have a girlfriend then she invited her to have lunch with them.

The lunch was awkward at first but Aurielle soon felt comfortable around Mrs. Salvador. They talked about things, her studies, her dreams, her family. Aurielle was surprised that the other woman was happily listening to her and not once did she say anything about her normal grades, or that she still wasn't sure what she should do in the future. Perhaps, his mother wasn't exactly the person she expected.

Aurielle and Mclowell also talked, their usual couple stuff and all the other sweet things that make butterflies appear in their stomach. It was a few seconds when they parted that Aurielle realized his mother likes her, she realizes that she's been worrying about nothing at all.

She was so overjoyed that she didn't mind that instead of meeting on the shop, the seller wanted to meet at a restaurant near the shop. She didn't really paid attention to the seller, the only thing about her that got stuck in her memory was her warm sweet voice and the smell of cigarette that was surrounding her.

"She thinks your too good for me" Mclowell said. Aurielle looked at him, and suddenly Francine's word replayed on her mind.

He's one of those guys

The guys who doesn't care about anyone but themselves

"Really?" said Aurielle, curiously "What did you say?" she can't help but ask. "I know your too good for me but I don't think I don't deserve you" Aurielle knows that she disagree but thought better and held that thought. "What makes you think that?"

Mclowell smirked at her, his arms not leaving her waist "Because I'm a lot of things" Aurielle giggled in a way to rid of the unnecessary thoughts. "True" she whispered. "And I've done a lot of things too" That made the thoughts come back which caused a frown to appear on Aurielle's face.
