Warming Up

After IVE's performance you were waiting backstage in front of the girls' locker room. It seemed like something was wrong, you felt like you weren't going to just be a spectator, but you didn't know what was going to happen. You could see a lot of activity and a lot of different groups doing something behind the scenes while the girls were getting ready, and some of them are constantly staring at you because of your unusually tall stature and standing in front of IVE's door. While you were still waiting there, Starship officers who helped you inside came to you with a camera this time and that's what you didn't like. Finally the door opened and the girls came out.

-Hey Y/N! Yujin said and you smiled.

-I said it would be fun to watch, you were great, I loved it. You said and girls thanked you.

-Who you liked the most? Rei asked, and you gave that question some thought.

-You know, I don't have a favorite.

-Come on, choose one of us. Gaeul said.

-To tell the truth, I'm torn between Yujin and Wonyoung. You said and this made Gaeul visibly said.

-Of course you will choose them they are tall like you. Leeseo said and they you laughed.

-Yeah you are right but Gaeul has a different vibe to her I loved her too. You said and Leeseo gave Gaeul a naughty look.

-So when are we going to watch your show? Wonyoung asked that made everybody surprised.

-I haven't received the fixture for the team yet, so I don't know.

-Coach want you tomorrow. Leah talked.

-Tomorrow? Without going into team training? You asked.

-Check your phone. She said and you saw you are in a new group.

-Tomorrow we will perform at halftime. Yujin said.

-Now I'm a little stressed, six beautiful girls will be watching me from the front row. You said and girls laughed to you.

-You trying to be cute with that voice just didn't fit. Liz said.

-I didn't want to be cute. What are you filming, turn it off. you turned at Leah who is trying to get a content for your Instagram.

Your conversations and laughter continued until you returned home. Leah and Cody, on the other hand, were still doing their job. While Leah was taking lots of photos and videos, Cody was scheduling a short workout for you before tomorrow's game from his tablet. When you got home, you said goodbye to the girls and entered your home. At least you felt good that you made them happy, because they seemed unhappy with your coldness. In the living room, Cody was showing you how the team played basketball from the videos he found, and you were thinking about what you could give to this team. But the tiredness of the day prevented you from working for too long and you fell asleep at 11 pm.

You woke up around 6 in the morning. The game was at 2 pm and you and Cody were to practice pre-game shooting at the Jamsil Arena at nine o'clock. Before leaving your room, you opened the suitcase with your shoes to choose the shoes you will wear to the game today. Yes, you still haven't unpacked your suitcases. You took out the blue and white PG 2 model shoes that match the colors of the team from among the shoes and put them in your backpack with your Compression shirt, Knee sleeve and tights and went to the kitchen. You had your special breakfast on match day. At 8 o'clock you left the house with Cody and Leah.

You arrived at Jamsil Arena 20 minutes earlier than planned. Coach Sang-Min Lee greeted you in the parking lot and took you to the locker room. You met assistant coach Kyu-Sup Lee, who will translate for you in the locker room. They showed you some of their easy sets and left you alone saying that even if you just played pick and roll it would be enough for them. You wore the training clothes they gave you and put the sleeve you brought on your left leg and leave the locker room. When you went to hardwood, there were IVE members in the arena doing sound check and rehearsals. You and Cody took 3 balls from the ball rack without distracting them and left the balls under a hoop. You went to one of the side lines and started to warm up by jogging the court horizontally. You heard Gaeul's voice echoing in the empty arena no matter how hard you tried to do it without attracting their attention.
