Ooookay, can we talk about how divided people are about Tali's face? Like holy shit, there are many designs and most of them are just, bleh.
Now, since Tali is this story's love interest (something interesting will happen with this concept so keep it in the back of your minds), and since her face is such a hot topic, I have to be the one to decide what her face looks like.
Why am I making this an author's note? Why am I not just keeping her face a surprise? I actually do not know.
Anyways, first things first, I actually don't like the canon face for Tali. Yes, I'm talking about the one from Legendary Edition. I don't like the old Photoshop face either, obviously. I don't like it because it looks waaay too human. Tali is an alien. I don't want her to look like a yautja, but I don't just want her to look like a purple woman with face tattoos.

It's really well made, and shit if I was a man of no principle I would go for it (I personally think it's pretty hot) but it literally looks like a redhead woman with purple skin and funky eyes.

I can't find anymore images of this one, and the full image is NSFW, and I'm not really sure I want to dive deeper into fanart, because I'm actually kinda freaked out by what some mfs in this fandom draw. If I find a drawing with a clearer angle of this face, it might be the face I go with.

This is the one I'm going with. It's not exactly my favorite, buuuut it looks really good. The eyes look kinda freaky so I'll just imagine them differently.
