   "𝐍𝐎 𝐖𝐀𝐘 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐘 didn't have vanilla bean fraps." I complain, sounding upset as me and Valeria leave the Starbucks drive thru before we get to school.

   "Why don't you just get something else?" She asks nonchalantly as she sips on her strawberry açaí, and I make a turn as we leave the coffee place, "You know school is that way, right?" She points to the opposite direction of where I'm headed.

   "We're going to Mcdonald's." I tell her, it being right next door to Starbucks. "I'm not havin no frap this morning."

   It was about 12:40 pm, aka B lunch hour. On top of me and Valeria not having any classes together, we have separate lunches too. Neither of us got our schedules changed this semester. She's still in C lunch, along with some of my other friends.

   I only have lunch with Avery, thank God though.

   Me and Valeria had our usual morning together but other than that the day itself has been pretty boring.

   "Can we please skip fifth? I don't wanna look at Ms. Powers face today. And I definitely don't want to deal with Dante either." Avery begs.

   "No, I wasn't here yesterday and I'm already behind. I'm not tryna hear her shit tomorrow." I say while rolling my eyes just thinking about her. "Everything'll be fine, just like ignore him."

   "Oh, yeah that'll definitely work!" She says sarcastically.

   "How about we just walk in late?" I compromise, her obviously agreeing. "We'll just say that we went to the nurse to get some pads."

   "This is why I love you." She says relieved that we won't have to see our english teacher right away, causing me to jokingly flip my hair around and roll my eyes cockily.

   "We should actually go to the nurse and get some though. Just to make it more believable." I add on to my little plan.

   We waited until the first bell rang and wasted time walking around the school, went to the nurse, and then walked to the farthest bathroom from our current class.
