I was wondering around the streets of Kyoto, my last night of pro-trolling the great city because I'm moving to Tokyo in the morning. Walking on a rooftop, taking in the scenery, until I heard the sound.

I looked for the sound, that sound that brought me out in the night, calling my name loudly. I ran towards it. The closer I thought I was to it the faster I ran. It had brought me in a strange alley between two large apartment buildings, 'I finally have it! It's loud and clear now!' I thought quickly.

But then it stopped.

My relieved my face turned into a nasty disgusted one and I punched the ground. I was so close!

I sighed heavily and looked up to see a caramel looking cat walking casually down the alley. The cat noticed me, freaked out and ran behind a near dumpster. I tsked and turned around. As I was about to walk away, there was a gust of wind and a piercing white light behind me. I turned and squinted in the direction. Curious as I was, I walked towards it slowly. The light faded away and the gust of wind stopped. 'What was THAT?' I questioned myself. I yelled a 'hello' before seeing to large ears come out, followed by a a person with.... cat ears. Their eyes seemed to have night vision. My eyes widened in fear.

And then all I saw was darkness. I fainted by fear of this unknown creature.

About a minute passed and my eyes were shut. I then felt a series of tapping on my arm and my name being called out. My eyes then flew open and I gasped. The creature was near my face.

The creature tilted his head a bit and flicked their ears. "Kesshō (Kes-sho)?" the creature asked in a very manly voice.

I was about to ask how they knew my name, but I couldn't speak. I just sat there, staring at him. That's the fake name I use for going out at night like this. I'm well known for stopping burglaries and saving people and fighting bad guys. So hearing my name go around isn't an extreme surprise for me.

I nodded slowly, confirming him I am who he is looking for, "And you are?" I finally spoke, cautiously using diction.

"Oh, I'm sorry, it's just really hard to hold my excitement in because I finally found you. But it seems to me that you don't remember who I am because you kind of fainted when you saw me.." he laughed awkwardly, his tail twitching. "My name's Furōringu (Fū-dō-ring-oo)." he said. He realized he was still holding me and let go, "Sorry about that." I could still see the blush forming on his cheeks.

'Furōringu'? I thought as I narrowed my eyes at him. He does look familiar, but I just can't grasp where I know him from. After thinking that, I realized what he had said.

"Wait a second" I pointed my finger at him, "You've been looking for me?" I asked as I got up and stepped away from him. He nodded and I softly gasped again, although I have no idea why I did so.

"You don't remember, but you soon will, they said I can't force any memories on you," he said and then realized something, " I have to report that I found you! I'll call Argiano (Ar-gee-â-no) so that he can tell the Lord." Furōringu said as he ran out of breath and turned around and started walking away.

"What?! Argiano? The Lord? Memories? What in the cake scraps are you talking about?!" I asked angrily and confused as I caught up to him as he continued to walk away. He took a bracelet out of his back pocket and tapped it exactly four times in a double heated pattern.

Then a little boy fell from a portal. I screamed in horror and ran up to him to see if he was okay. Furōringu sighed heavily and I looked over at him angrily..... wait, that seemed familiar.... The little boy groaned and that locked me out of my thoughts.
