The Beginning (Side Story) Part 3

He had now created man and woman.

Hera was a beautiful woman. Though Zeus and God were supposed to procreate children with her. He wasn't very attracted to her to be completely honest. And Zeus wasn't either. She was very commanding and complained a lot about how they were never giving her attention.

'If we were to procreate... Would our children turn out like her??' God once thought.

"No no no!" Zeus said. He and God chatted separately while they studied the animals more. "I'm sorry my Lord but we can't take anymore of her, she's a lot of work!"

"And you think you weren't a lot of work?" God said trying to defend Hera.

Zeus made a duck face stubbornly, ".... I know... Why don't you make more of us?"

God looked at him. There was a long silence before he looked over at the lions in the corner of piece of land. He saw the large cat family living in harmony. The lionesses looking after the young and the lion playing with his young. God finally stood up and walked away. Zeus wondered if he'd said something wrong. He didn't want God being mad at him, he got up too and walked to talk to Hera.

It was almost night time when Zeus was now freaking out. God hasn't returned to their house. He paced around the large home he helped God build, worrying.

Little did Zeus know, God had made more people, eleven to be exact. It took a while because molding sand was a bit hard. When he arrived to the house with all those people, he wanted to slap him silly. Obviously he wasn't going to do so, but he really did want to.

Now God had made 13 people by hand (well actually sand).

First person: Zeus
Second person: Hera
Third person: Poseidon
Fourth Person: Aphrodite
Fifth person: Hades
Sixth person: Athena
Seventh person: Apollo
Eighth person: Hestia
Ninth person: Hermes
Tenth person: Hephaestus
Eleventh person: Artemis
Twelve person: Ares
Thirteenth person: Dionysus
