"Ok, so we found a guy, who kidnapped Kie, wanted to kidnap us all, somehow got to defeat him, brought him back to camp, tied him up with our great DIY skills, and you think this was a regular normal day?" John B asked JJ as he toasted a piece of fish they had caught before the night came.
"I never get credit for my amazing DIY skills" Kie rolled her eyes
"I see that as a regular day. Ever since I joined your Pogue group thing, my life has never been so... interesting" Cleo raised her eyebrows as she played with her knife.
"Well, maybe the kidnapping part isn't that normal, but" JJ started
"hmp" The not so mysterious guy managed to hum through his tightly shut mouth
They all shot a look at him, but JJ kept going.
"but other than that" there was a long pause as he redirected his look back to the fire
"other than that, I think nothing was completely out of the ordinary. Besides maybe,"
"hmmmmmpphh"
"Oh my gosh will you shut up? I'm about to give a very emotional speech, and your hmphing isn't exactly helping the vibe" JJ got up
"JJ don't do anything stupid, we still need him to give us more information" Pope rolled his eyes
"First of all, stupid things have good outcomes all the time," JJ started while everyone mouthed the words of that infamous philosophy.
"Second of all, I won't." He continued as he walked closer to the man
Sarah got up "I'm tired, had a long day"
"I agree, I'll come with you girl" Cleo stood up as well
"I would, but with Mr. Hmpher here, I won't get any sleep" JJ joined. "Kie, there was absolutely no way you could have DIYed something that would also shut him up?"
She rolled her eyes "Well, it's a little hard when you're stranded on an island with very minimal resources. On that note, I'll go to sleep as well" She got up, and left with Sarah and Cleo.
"Well, we haven't had this in a while" Pope smiled
"What?" John B asked, confused
"A guy's moment, without all your girlfriends" Pope answered as if it was obvious
"Hey hey hey, I haven't had a girlfriend since like 10th grade" JJ pointed out
"Ok, but first of all, that was last year, and we all see you around Kie" John B teased
"He has a point" Pope raised his eyebrows
"okay, he does, but she's the hottest out of all Pogues, AND she's rich. Double the reason why I should have a crush on her" JJ responded
"Hey, no, don't go there. You can't date my ex-girlfriend" Pope put his finger up
JJ made a face to cover his disappointment "I just said crush dude, also, not your ex-girlfriend officially, she was never your girlfriend"
"Okay, really, not the hottest when Sarah exists" John B threw out
Pope and JJ both gave a are you sure about that look to him
"Hmmph" that little hum made all 3 of them jump
"Of course, I forgot he was there" John B laughed softly

"JJ?" Pope's whisper and shake woke him up.
"What?" JJ asked, half asleep
"You were supposed to stay awake dumbass, you know? watch him?" Pope was yelling at him in a whisper
They had taken the decision to each be awake for about an hour and a half, and watch the guy, who, even stranded on with his hands tied and mouth shut, could still manage to do something.
"Sorry. He's still asleep, I did my job, you watch him now" JJ said so carelessly.
He got up, and laid next to the rest of them. the sand was still warm as he was the first one to stay awake, and the sun had only set a few hours ago.
"JJ, could you be any louder ?" Cleo said sarcastically, asleep.
JJ mouthed a sorry, but wasn't sure Cleo even opened her eyes to talk.

JJ woke up when he felt someone nudge him
"I really can't sleep, can I?" He asked, weakly, not opening his eyes.
"JJ" Kie's annoyed voice immediately caused him to open his eyes.
The sun was rising, meaning it was about 5-6 am. Kie was the last shift.
"What's up? Did he do anything to you?" He sounded worried
"No dumbass, stop thinking I'm so vulnerable" She tried to hide her smile.
"I think I found something that belongs to Mr.Humpher here"
