Wrench finally came back from England and we met at a local restaurant near the hackerspace. I didn't expect him to arrive without his mask, I didn't want to question him either just to avoid him getting pissed.

I was waiting for him at the table and I got up to hug him, it was like 4 years since I've seen him. The hug was long, it made my stomach turn weirdly cause Wrench wasn't letting go.

Eventually, he sat down across from me and smiled. "I missed San Francisco and of course you too man." He looked eager, and his smile was bright.

"Aw, it was pretty lonely here without you. I'm glad you're back." I had this weird feeling come about but I brushed it off.  "Ughh tell me about what happened there?"

He goes on and tells me his adventures with Pierce which was a long story. The waitress came up in the middle of it and got our drinks.

I told him what I've been up to and it's basically the same old shit.

"Did you make any other friends? Did anyone else join dedsec?" He asked.

I thought for a moment. I did start talking to a girl as soon as he left but it didn't last. "No one new in dedsec, I was talking to a girl but it didn't last long." I shrugged.

He nodded and sighed. "Yeah Zane and I flopped, it's better that way. I was happier here than I was in England."

"Shit happens man. I just think it was too early to you know. You got out of it, it's over now." I shrugged.

"Yeah." He slightly cringed. "I don't know what I was thinking M." His expression was blank as his eyes looked at his hands loosely folded on the table.

"Heartbreak sucks but everyone goes through it. Sometimes it's cold and other times you feel free." I noticed that he seemed to be more over it then he should be.

He nodded and was engaged when I started to talk about the girl that I met. He was leaned over with his elbows on the table and his head on his hands.

"She cheated on me with multiple men, she stole money, and fuck. She was the biggest two-faced bitch I ever encountered. You do what makes you happy after the fact and it gets easier-." I stopped.

"M sorry to cut you off but I really gotta go- " He hopped off the chair.
"No problem man, it's all good." I watched him get up but he kinda awkwardly ran to the bathroom.

I brushed it off since he probably had to really go. I look around at the diner and see the taxidermy moose head that hasn't been dusted in ages. He was framed above the fireplace and I just noticed that there was a fire going. I gazed at it for a while until I felt the table buzz.

I peered over to Wrench's phone which was faced up. The notification read, "It's ready! Just turn it on through the app!" The app's name was AP Control Massager.

I sat there flabbergasted thinking what it meant. I slowly pull his phone over and read it again and I know I read it correctly the first time. Why is he-? What? Why now?? I slid the phone back in the same spot.

I looked to see if he was coming back, but he wasn't. Was he using it right now? I started to feel deviant in a way, I was trying to remember his password. I slowly moved his phone back to me and then I felt someone standing above me.
I jumped, not expecting it.
"Hey, do you need help with anything? Would you like to order some food?" The waitress asked.

"Nah nah, we're good for now" I smiled up at her. She nodded back and walked away.

I decided to pick up his phone and I typed his password slowly and it opened. I found the app and clicked on it, I usually don't snoop but imagining Wrench all wound up was getting to me.
