Everyone stood there with confused and/or stunned looks on their faces as they stared at the man in front of them. Taya felt her heart begin to race a little bit.
Guess this wasn't over afterall...
"Ben," Klaus chuckled, smiling widely as Luther took a step closer to Ben to get a better look at him. Not believing what he was seeing as his forehead creased in confusion and disbelief.
"Is that really you?" Ben tilted his head to the side, seemingly a bit confused as to what was happening as he studied Luther.
"And who are the weirdos on the balcony?," Diego yelled, he was clearly not impressed with the fact that random people who didn't know were in his house. And they seemed to have the same thoughts.
"They are the Sparrows," Reginald answered simply, "My children." Taya looked up at the people on the balcony, squinting in order to see them better as she tilted her head, trying to figure out why there was a large floating cube with them.
"I'm sorry. What do you mean your children?," Five questions, trying to make sense of what was going on. "That's not possible, old man." Taya quietly snickered at Five calling her grandfather 'old man' as the Sparrows walked down the stairs and entered the living room, standing on the carpet behind the Umbrellas.
"Of course it is!," Reginald replied simply, "I think I would know, wouldn't I?"
"Everybody else can see Ben, right?," Klaus asked. The smile never left his face as he excitedly gestured to Ben and Taya couldn't help but smile at her uncle's happiness.
"Cute hat, Sundance," Ben snarked.
"They call themselves The Umbrella Academy, a group of scheming, perfidious malcontents who accosted me in the fall of 1963 when I was away on business in Dallas," Reginald announced, talking about the Umbrellas. "Be warned, they claim to be my spawn."
Allison took a few steps towards Reginald with a frustrated look as she spoke, "Claim? Five, what the hell is going on?"
"I don't know yet, but it's concerning," Five answered honestly and Taya looked at him.
"No shit, schoolboy," she said, her voice laced with sarcasm.
"Is he telling the truth?," another Sparrow asked, he seemed to be their Number One.
"Not the part of us being perfidious," Viktor replied.
"No, we're amateur-fidious at best," Klaus agreed, still smiling as he looked back at the Sparrows.
"But we are his children. This is our house," Viktor explained, hoping to de-escalate the situation.
"Yeah, yeah. We uh... we grew up here," Luther stated, Taya just stood quietly and watched the scene play in front of her. Her arms folded over her chest as she sighed heavily, this was not what she expected to happen when she finally returned home. At all.
"Oh yeah, we grew up here," another Sparrow mimicked, mocking Luther.
"I kind of think we would have noticed you," another Sparrow said, she seemed a lot more kind and reasonable than her siblings. Luther stared at the woman like a love struck child, a friendly smile formed on his face as he introduced himself, Taya smiled slightly at that.
"Hi, I'm Luther." The woman just gave him a very brief small smile in response before Taya spoke up.
"Okay. None of you belong here," she stated, letting her hands drop to her sides.
"Oh, well then I guess we'll just pack our bags and move out," one of the other Sparrows snarked and the cube began to speak. Taya didn't really understand what he was saying.
