Ryan grabbed my arm when I walked in and I gasped.

"What are you doing?" I asked harshly.
"Sorry, why did you need to talk to Ivy?" he asked, avoiding answering my question. I ripped my arm from his grasp ignoring him, walking to my seat. He followed and sat in his seat. The same thing happened as yesterday. I got dizzy and couldn't write very well. Ryan looked at my writing with a suspicious look. "What's wrong?" he asked when Mr. Malcom's back was turned. I shook my head.

"Nothing I'm fine." I said simply, writing as best as I can. I saw Jack watching us with a worried look, but I couldn't think of why.

As I walked to lunch, I stumbled, getting dizzier than earlier and getting blurry vision. I walked as best as I could to our table and sat, trying to clear my head.

"Are you ok?" someone asked from behind me. I look, expecting Ryan but it's Jack there, putting a hand on my shoulder. I nodded and that's when I realize that I'm shaking uncontrollably.
"I'm fine. I'm just tired that's all." I replied, playing with my necklace. He nodded making room for Ivy between us and sat.
"Ok, everything's ready for the sleepover except I need to pack some things." Ivy said excitedly. I nodded with a fake smile. Jack didn't look convinced by my smile, shooting me a worried glance now and then.

The rest of the school day I sat thinking about how Ryan grabbed by arm earlier. It unsettled me but I pushed through my classes and ran to the bus. Sadly, Ivy was sitting with Jack and the only seat left was one of the seats in the back. With Ryan. I sighed as I dragged myself back there and sat by the window. I suddenly felt trapped on this seat. Something was wrong, I felt it in the air like a scent of an animal. It hovered around Ryan, like a blanket of mystery waiting to be revealed.

"Are you going to tell me what was so important earlier?" Ryan asked as we started moving. I ignored him, watching the streets go by.

Finally, we stopped at our street and I was the first one on the road. I sprinted as fast as I could into the house. I ran upstairs to grab my notes and brought them to the dining room table. There was a knock at the door, so I walked to get it. When I opened the door, Jack was standing there with Ivy.

"Hey." I said, nodding in Jacks direction. He nodded and Ivy glanced at the table. I opened the door wider so they could walk in, and when they did, I closed the door and rushed to hide the papers.
"Nice house." Jack said looking around.
"Thanks Jack. Ivy can we talk for a sec?" I asked her. She looked at Jack for a moment then nodded.

"Help yourself to anything in the fridge or the pantry." I told him as we walked up the stairs to my room. "Why'd you bring him?" I asked when I shut my bedroom door.
"Sorry, he insisted. I know, I shouldn't have. I'm sorry. He said something about, keeping an eye on you." She said, sitting on my bed. I nodded, then I remembered how the voice on the phone sounded familiar. It was Jacks.

I stumbled to my desk and pulled the notebook out.
"What's that?" Ivy asked, watching me.
"These are the notes I took from the phone call last night." I said, deciding not to tell her it was Jack. She looked over the notes for a minute.
"Map? Way home? Journey? This doesn't make sense." Ivy said re-reading them.

"I know. I'm going to call him again tonight and ask a few more questions. I hope I can understand them better." I said sitting next to her. She nodded, putting them back.
"We should head back downstairs. Who knows what Jack is eating." She said with a laugh. I laughed and followed her downstairs.

"This fudge is amazing." Jack said with a full mouth.
Ivy looked at me and we both laughed. I walked to the kitchen and looked at the fudge containers.
"You ate like all of it." I said holding up the container as evidence.
"Sorry." He apologized, laughing. I shook my head, but I was laughing.
"Have you seen the video?" Ivy asked him. He shook his head.
"What video? I haven't seen any video." He replied, swallowing.
She looked at me expectantly. I nodded and pulled out my phone. I got to the video, pressed play, and showed him.

"You'll have to beg for forgiveness." Ivy joked. Jack smiled.
"How about I take you to dinner instead?" he asked her. She gasped but nodded.
"Wait, I'm spending the night here tonight. How about tomorrow?" she asked. He nodded with a smile.
"Originally I came to ask if you were ok, you looked pale earlier." He said to me with another worried look. I nodded; I was feeling better now that I was at home.

"I was dizzy earlier, but I'm fine now." I said with a smile. He smiled back, but it looks forced.
"Let me know if you get dizzy again. And when you get dizzy." He said walking to the door.
"Why do you care?" I asked before I could stop myself.
"I don't know if I can tell you. Bye." He said and he walked out of the door.

"Talk about strange." Ivy said. I nodded simply, walking to my room. Ivy followed and we studied to the necklaces until Jamie got home. When I heard Jamie pull up, I put my necklace back on and the other one on my bookshelf.
