I turned on the kitchen light and grabbed my cup.

"That's a lot to take in." Ivy said. I nodded while my thoughts ran a race.

Is he lying? Why would he lie? Is he really my twin? Can he show me our parents?

I put my cup down with a sigh turning around to face her.
"Do you believe him?" She asked as she filled up a cup for herself.
"I'm not sure who to believe right now. Even if I did believe him, I can't just leave Jamie here after everything." I replied simply, frowning.

"I get it. But she will too. It's not like you won't have the chance to visit her. And based on the map thing in the necklaces it's not far. Maybe a day or two walking there." She said turning back to me.

Shrugging, I walked back upstairs, grabbed my necklace, and flopped on my bed. Ivy walked in not long after that and sat on the edge of my bed.

"She'll understand that you want to see if you can find your real parents." She said holding the other necklace. I nodded slightly, putting my necklace back on.

"Let's talk about it in the morning." I nearly begged. After everything that's happened today I'm exhausted. She tossed out her blankets and pillows with a nod, and shortly after that, we were asleep.

Jamie let us sleep in that morning, but it didn't help when we smelled bacon cooking all the way downstairs.

"Does she realize this is a cruel way to wake someone up?" Ivy joked as she stretched. I laughed as I stood and walked to my door. "What's that?" She asked pointing to my window.

I looked, confused, and saw a little box sitting on the ledge. I opened the window carefully before taking the box and pulling it inside.

"It has a note." I said pulling it off the box and showing it to her. "it says, 'Ignore the wolf from your doorstep.'" I read to her with a frown.

Wolf? What wolf?

Ivy took it from me to read it herself.

"Well, at least he didn't leave a number." She said with a slight laugh. I opened the box and found another necklace.

"I thought we were done with mysterious necklaces." I groaned, annoyed. When I grabbed it, it didn't turn ocean blue like the others, it turned dark red.

"That's new." Ivy said, peering at it. I nodded throwing inside the box.

"I'm done with the stupid mysterious necklaces!" I nearly shouted kicking the box with the new necklace under the bed.

She nodded with a sigh as she walked to the door, opened it, and jogged downstairs to the kitchen.

"Morning." Jamie said when I made it downstairs.

I nodded sitting at the table as she came and put a plate with bacon, eggs, and a biscuit in front of Ivy and me.

"Yum. This looks delicious." Ivy said grabbing a piece of bacon off the plate.

I laughed as I took a bite of my eggs. Jamie joined us not long after that with her own plate of food.

After we finished, we started a movie downstairs.

"I'll make popcorn." Jamie said walking to the pantry.
"What are we going to do about the necklaces?" Ivy asked quietly, playing with a braid. I shrugged.
"Who knows. I might just leave the box there and pretend none of this happened."

Jamie walked in with a giant bowl of popcorn when someone knocked on the door.
"I'll get it." I said, standing.

When I opened the door, Ryan was standing there, ready to knock again.
"You seem impatient today." I said with a small laugh.
"Yeah, did you get the box?" he asked. His question threw me off guard for a moment and he seemed to notice.
"You did. Good. I need you to bring me the necklace. Or I can go up with you." He said quickly. I shook my head with a frown.
"No sorry. I'm busy today and I'm so done with weird necklaces." I started closing the door, but he put his foot in the way, pushing the door open again.

"Go away. I don't want to talk to you or Jack or anyone else who claims to know about my past. I'm not leaving Jamie after what she's done for me and I'm not touching another stupid necklace." I said, my voice rising.

"Calm down ok. I get it, but it's proof I need for my pack. So, if you could just show me-" I punched him in the gut, making him stumble back and shut the door as fast as I could before he could finish his sentence.

"Who was it." Jamie asked when I walked into the front room.

"A crazy person." I replied sitting in my favorite chair.
"Well, what did he want?" she continued pausing the movie.
"I don't know. Something about a box and doing something for his pack or whatever. I wasn't really paying attention." I said forcing a small smile.
"What's going on? Your acting strange." Jamie said, turning to me.
"Well, it's a very long story." I said before she told me to explain......

And that's when I told her everything.
