First Love | Minsung

-CHAPTER 5-

MINHO

It's been a few days since we almost kissed in the library. I wonder what would have happened had Chan and the others come in later. Even just one minute...

Suppose it did happen. Would our relationship change for the better? Would we be dating now? But our relationship changed for sure...but for the worst. Now, the environment between us isn't as comfortable and carefree as before. Now it is sometimes awkward and embarrassing. 

So I'm waiting for him to talk about it. We haven't talked about that. I guess it's too embarrassing for him too. I don't blame him cuz I am also embarrassed. But still... can't he just say something about it???

I'm waiting in front of my bike for Jisung. He isn't here. I've been waiting for a few minutes now. Even though things have changed between us, I still want the tradition, or habit, to stay that way. So I will continue waiting for him. Besides, today I want to ask him, seeing that he isn't going to.

I hope he says yes. I mean, I think he is going to. He's the one who started it. 

Then I saw Jisung coming towards me. "Hey," he said. "Hey Han," I said back. "I need to tell you something," I said. He looked up at me. "I do too, but maybe we should go to a park or coffee shop." 

I nodded. "Let's go to the park," I said. He agreed and we got on our bikes. 

Once we arrived, we sat down on a bench. "So, uhm...I think you should go first." Han shook his head. "No, you should!" he said.

"No, you!"

"YOU!"

"NO, YOU!" I said. Finally, it feels more normal between us. I laughed. "Well, I guess we will be staying here all night long, because I will not say anything!" "WOW, you're soooo stubborn!"

"Fine," he started. "I wanted to ask you this... So, do you remember when we ... uhm ... almost kissed? Well, do you like me? I'm asking this...cuz you didn't move away. So I guess I'm curious." he said. My eyes widened slightly. "Uh...do you?" I asked, looking at the ground. He paused and then nodded slightly. "M- me too," I said, still looking at the ground. 

"Really?" asked Han, obviously surprised. I nodded, still not looking at him. "I've liked you since middle school!" he admitted, smiling. "Really!?" I asked, now looking at him. "Yeah! What about you?" he asked. "Nope," I replied. "Oh," he said, looking slightly disappointed. "But... I like you now!" I said. He smiled happily and hugged me. It was really sudden. I hugged him back. 

"So, are we like...dating now?" asked Han softly, still hugging me. I nodded. "Yeah, why not. But only if you want to as well." I said. "Of course I do..." he replied. He slowly released me. His eyes drifted to my lips. My heart started beating fast. "I kinda wanna kiss you right now..." he whispered. My heart beat even faster. I froze, not knowing what to do. He quickly looked away. "Sorry, I went too far. Uh, it's getting late maybe we shou-" said Han. But before he could finish the sentence I pulled him closer. "Y-you can," I said. He smiled and leaned closer. 

JISUNG

"His eyelashes are so long..." I thought as my lips touched his. The kiss was soft and innocent. After a few seconds, we finally let go. "We definitely should be going now," said Minho, getting up. He held out his hand so I could grab it. "C'mon!" he said.  I smiled and held his hand all the way to our bikes. Then we rode them home.

"I think we should keep our relationship a secret from the others for now," said Minho, while we were putting our bikes away. "I think you're right. But we gotta tell them soon because they might get mad if they find out we have been hiding it for long." I said. "Besides, they don't have a problem with a two-boy relationship. Remember Hyunjin and Felix. They literally do PDA in front of us and they still don't say anything!" I said, laughing slightly. "Don't exaggerate! Besides, whenever they hug or hold hands, they tease them!" Minho pointed out. "That's different!" I said. "Han, I just want to keep it a secret for now..." 

I smiled. "Of course!" I grabbed his arm and we went to class.

'I love you~' 

Read the note I passed to Minho in class. He glared at me from the other side of the room. I smiled mischievously. 

'What if someone saw the note you idiot!'

There was a funny caricature at the bottom of the note, which made me smile. 

'That would be a nice way for everyone to find out about our secret romance~' I wrote sarcastically. 

'IT'S NOT A SECRET ROMANCE... THAT'S SO CRINGEY! we're just not telling anyone about it yet'

I smirked, knowing it would annoy Minho even more, I wrote:

'Don't be angry...do you not love me anymore~'

I passed it to him, and the moment he read it he glared at me again.

'I'm not angry you dumbass now stop writing nonsense to me and let me focus on my classes!'

I nodded, and both of our focus drifted back to our lessons and books.
