MINHO

I was laying on my bed. It's been about two weeks since Han's death. Time has been going extra slowly. His funeral will be soon. My eyes were red and puffy from crying nonstop these past few days.

That's when I saw a figure. I mustered all of my strength and got up. It was glowy and transparent-like. Almost like a ghost.

"Who are you?" I asked, feeling really stupid. It didn't do anything. "Great now I'm hallucinating," I muttered to myself and went to my bed again. But my eyes never left the glowy figure.

It got closer to me. My heart beat fast. As it got closer, I could recognize it. I gasped when I recognized it as Han.

It was a foot away from me now.

"H-Hannie?" I asked, my eyes wide. "Yep, it's me." It said. I wasn't expecting it to answer my call, but it did...which made me even more surprised. "Are you real?" I asked. He shook his head. "I can't talk a lot right now, so I got to make it quick. I was given the pass to come see you. I wasn't meant to die. So, you have one chance to go back to that day and rescue me. If you fail, it's over. If you don't, then you'll get me back." the ghost of Han said.

"H-how do I know you're real?" I asked, reaching my hand out to touch it, but it felt cold and nonexistent. The figure sighed and came closer to me. It pecked my cheek. The feeling was weird. It felt cold, but at the same time felt nice. It's real. It isn't my imagination.

"I got to go now. Will you do it?" It asked, looking deep into my eyes. I nodded eagerly. The figure smiled at me. "Be awake at 3 a.m. tonight...well, tomorrow. Make sure you are not late!" it said. I nodded. "I'll be awake," I assured.

It gave me one last smile. "I sure do love you, Lino..." It said. With that, it left leaving me once again.

I let the experience sink in. What if I wake up and realize it was all just a dream that is all too good to be true? But nevertheless, I decided to wait till 3 a.m. and see if it was real. I thought of all the possibilities that I could use to save him. Once I thought of the best one, I fell asleep, hopeful for the near future.

I woke up. 12 a.m. I got up and decided to go on my phone.

It was 3:11 a.m. "It was all just a dream,"  I thought to myself. But I saw the weird glow again. I jumped up eagerly. The glow transformed into Han's figure. "Hi," it said. "H-hey," I replied. "Are you ready to go?" Han asked. I nodded. It held my hand. I expected it to be some voodoo thing, but it was all simple. I closed my eyes, not wanting to see what was happening...just in case I see all the stuff that happened in the past, like Han's bloody body. At least, that's what happens in the movies.

I felt a weird feeling that I was lighter than air. Then the feeling sank away and I felt...solid? I opened my eyes. I was back in my room. Except it was filled with light. I checked my phone. The date was 2 weeks before. I gasped.

3 missed calls from 'Hannie '

I quickly called back, excited to hear his voice again. "WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING!? Y'KNOW HOW WORRIED SICK I WAS!?" said Han's voice once he answered. "I'm sorry," I said, fighting back tears. "Are you crying?" asked Han in a worried voice. "No, I'm just...excited for our date. Have you gotten dressed yet? We don't wanna be late!" I said. "Yeah, I'm wearing our matching outfit like we said we were going to," said Han. "Yep, but don't forget to wear your coat! It's gonna be cold." I reminded.

"Don't worry! See you in like 5 minutes!" said Han. "Ok, see you," I said and hung up. I quickly wiped my tears and washed my face before changing into the same outfit I wore the last time. I ran out and ran to his apartment building. I saw him standing there waiting for me. I paused and continued running, my arms spread wide so I could hug him. He looked at me and smiled. I hugged him with so much force that he almost toppled over. "Woah! Are you ok? It's like you didn't just see me yesterday!" said Han, laughing. "I'm ok, I'm just happy to see you," I said, still hugging him.

"I'll go park the car! You can just wait here," said Han to me. We were in front of the restaurant. "No, I'll go with you," I said. "Nah, it's fine Lino!" said Han. I shook my head and went inside the car. "Uh...ok then let's go!" said Han.

We parked the car. We walked to the spot where we had to cross the street. Knowing what could happen, I kept a close eye on Han. He took a step forward to cross the street. Headlights. But unlike last time, I grabbed his arm and pulled him closer to me. The car zoomed past. "You gotta pay attention!" I scolded. He looked up at me and smiled. "I will!"

"Promise?" I asked. He nodded. I looked both ways and since it was safe, I held tightly to his hand and we crossed the rode together. Going to the other side, safely.
