Taeylor grab two mugs and pour them each one. She passed one over to tywin

"It's not like you to stall for a meeting." Taeylor remarked confused but gladdened that he was staying with her longer this morning.

"Not stalling. I'm exhausted." He took a long drink of tea, apparently oblivious to the fact it should be burning the hell out of his mouth. Taeylor chuckled.

"Well i'm with Margaery today helping with the wedding and pre wedding festivities so you can rest." Taeylor assured.

"Thank you." Tywin declared. Taeylor laughed kissing him.

"I'm sorry I wear you out, just tell me no."

"Taeylor, you are impossible to say no to." Tywin countered.

"Good point." She blew him a kiss as she pranced to the door.

"Magnificent." Jaime remarked looking over the sword

"Mm-hmm." Tywin agreed downing another cup of tea.

"Looks fresh-forged." Jaime remarked

"It is." Tywin agreed again.

"No one's made a Valyrian steel sword since the Doom of Valyria." Jaime countered

"There are three living smiths who know how to rework Valyrian steel. The finest of them was in Volantis. Came here to King's Landing at my invitation." Tywin remarked nonchalantly.

"Where did you get this much Valyrian steel?" Jaime questioned.

"From someone who no longer had need of it." Tywin remarked smugly.

The throne room was a sea of jewels, furs, and bright fabrics. Lords and ladies filled the back of the hall and stood beneath the high windows, jostling like fishwives on a dock. The denizens of Joffrey's court had striven to outdo each other today.

The High Septon's crystal crown fired rainbows through the air every time he moved his head. At the council table, Queen Cersei shimmered in a cloth-of-gold gown slashed in burgundy velvet, while beside her Varys fussed and simpered in a lilac brocade. Taeylor was in her most lannister red dress, fine golden detailing along the sleeves that made her look bejeweled when she walked in beside maraegy.

"Everyone looks beautiful for this dress rehearsal."  Taeylor remarked.

"They do." Margaery agreed. "It will be perfect." She decided.

"Dont worry about Cersei's glares," Taeylor added. "She has a constant resting i'm going to murder you face to the female species."

"You've wanted one of these in the family for a long time." Jaime realized.

"And now we have two." Tywin agreed

"Two?" Jaime countered.

"The original weapon was absurdly large. Plenty of steel for two swords." Tywin remarked.

"Well, thank you. It's glorious." Jaime declared.

"You'll have to train your left hand." Tywin reminded him, his gaze shifting to the numb at Jaime's right.

"Any decent swordsman knows how to use both hands." Jaime countered

"You'll never be as good." Tywin retorted, Jaime stared back at him.

"No. But as long as I'm better than everyone else, I suppose it doesn't matter." Jaime agreed

"You can't serve in the Kingsguard with one hand."

"Where's that written?" Jaime mused, Tywin stared back at him annoyed. "I can and I will. The Kingsguard oath is for life."

King Joffrey sat above them all, amongst the blades and barbs of the Iron Throne. He was in crimson samite, his black mantle studded with rubies, on his head his heavy golden crown.  Sansa reached the front of the gallery just as a blast of trumpets announced how they would for Margaery and Joffrey once wed.
