Pleasant flute notes rang out along with a variety of other tuneful instruments from the large television in front of the bed, it's light shining bright in contrast to the dark room. Buttons clicked on the controllers, gameplay carrying on behind idle conversation and jabs at each friend's in-game progress.

Soon enough the conversation began to die down into a comfortable silence with only the games soundtrack and audio cues filling the room as the two girls played, Sam sitting criss cross on the left side of the mattress with Lara to her right, laying on her stomach.

Lara's mind had begun to wander, her thoughts turning to Sam. As Lara began to fall deeper into thought she took note of a sweet smell that began lingering just under her nose. She couldn't help but breath in, deeply, closing her eyes and focusing on the tantalizing scent that now filled her lungs completely. Lara tried to be subtle, despite wanting to secure the sweetness deep within her chest, she kept her breathing at a hopefully unnoticeable volume. She could envision the smell as a sort of pink. How pretty.

Lara opened her eyes, turning her head ever so slightly to peek at Sam, who was absorbed in the split screen video game before her, lips parted and completely unaware or uncaring of anything beyond the screen.. of the dirty thoughts coursing through her friend's mind. Lara sighed, frustrated, though she wouldn't like to admit it. Even a little guilty at the thought of ruining such a calm and wholesome moment. She turned her attention back to the pixelated game, asking Sam whatever random question came to her mind first regarding the gameplay.
