Chapter Eleven:

As I walk into the hotel room, I've come to know as home in Britain. My phone buzzes telling me i have Instagram dm requests. I have nothing to do tonight. I might as well go through fan messages.

I take a quick shower before putting on some of my merch and a sweatshirt. I open Instagram and go to the message requests, one name sticking out above all others. "autumnnights".

I went into the account confirming it was Autumn before looking at the message.

autumnnights:
Hey Daniel, It's Autumn. Listen I just wanted to thank you so much. I saw the video the team posted where you said that my mothers bakery was your favorite bakery in the country (which wow. The honor) and I just wanted to say thank you. I went to the bakery after we left the paddock and it was packed. Around the street corner packed. You've made my mother the happiest I've ever seen her. So thank you again.

Hey Autumn. It was no worries at all. Your cupcake you gave me was one of the best treats I've ever had in my life. And I'm glad I made your mom so happy! If you don't mind me asking what are you doing tonight?

autumnnights:
That is a big shoe to fit. Thank you.
And if I tell you it would ruine the surprise tomorrow.

You can't just say that.
I need to know what the Suprise is now

autumnnights:
But do you really?

danielriccardo:
Yes I do. Please!

autumnnights:
While Stacy didn't say it was a surprise so I guess I can tell you.
I'm busy making your birthday cake

danielriccardo:
No way! What is it?

autumnnights:
I think somethings I'll keep a secret

danielriccardo:

What about you? What is big shot f1 driver Daniel Riccardo doing on a Thursday night?

Honestly... nothing.
Except talking to you i guess.

autumnnights:
What do you usually do on Thursday nights?

Watch TV or write

autumnnights:
Write?

danielriccardo:
No one really knows this but
I write music.

autumnnights:
No way! That's awesome!

I catch that I'm smiling. There's just something about this girl that makes me want to smile brighter then I've ever smiled. I go into her profile and press the follow button. I don't think this one's going away anytime soon.
